Hmm - we still like pictures.
Here is a link to some detail for your transformer.
    http://lcdparts.net/TransformerDetai...ProductID=3696
No Power to the board, set your meter to ohms 2000 and test S1 to S2 and S3 to S4. and post results.
Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

thank you very much for your further assistance.
Here are now some pictures from the main board .

I have measured the resistance of the secondary inverter coils:
That one nearer to the AC plug has 880 Ohm, the other one 930 Ohm (the inverter still on board).

How to check the CCFLs lamps?
How do you get access to the CCFLs in a proper way???

Is it possible to check the inverter board by using other CCFLs from a different brand display?

Again thank you for your assistance!

Pictures are not really clear enough for trouble shooting ( probably not enough natural light)

That looks to be your problem- they should be within 3% .I usually end up buying from ebay China - takes a long time but a lot cheaper.
FIRST desolder the transformer and test again off the board..

How to check the CCFLs lamps?
You can buy ccfl lamp testers - see the lcdparts.net or if you have a working monitor of a similar size you can do some tests by just changing the leads.

How do you get access to the CCFLs in a proper way???
I dont know - all monitors are slightly different - try youtube

Is it possible to check the inverter board by using other CCFLs from a different brand display?
Yes same as above - should be similar size ie 15 inch and 24 inch not good
19 inch and 24 inch - ok for a 5 minute test. 22 inch and 24 inch should be fine. You do not need to remove the bulbs - just change the leads to substitute bulbs one at a time to see if they stay lit.

I use an old laptop panel - smashed but lights are ok.

Good afternoon. I have a monitor Samsung T240 with power supply JP-54155A, REV 1,0 from 2008.03.17
            Burned:
            Q101-7N65C
            R103 - 0.37 Ohm
            D103
R19 - 10кОм, face value found in the photos of the forum
IC101 - I do not know which one.
Tell me where to download the scheme or the name of the chip.
Attaching photo. Thank you very much in advance. Attaching photo.

Re: Samsung SyncMaster T240 - 2 seconds then black problem

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum (been lurking for a while). Hope this finds you well.

So I have a Samsung T240 with a TM-10160 / NY0902BCT inverter transformer exhibiting the "2 seconds to black" issue. I just measured secondaries S1&S2 at 870 Ohms and S3&S4 at 590 kOhms (yes, that's KiloOhms).
I guess I should order a new transformer, do you guys have any idea where I could get a proper one? Does the code written on the 2nd line (NY0902BCT) matter? I have found a few online with that code having different values.

                Many thanks!

Is this forum thread completely dead? Not even a welcome message, from anyone? Weird...

                    Samsung Syncmaster 740BF repair
                    by soopacrucial
                    Hi folks,

I'm new here and was wondering whether you might be kind enough to give me some advice on troubleshooting the following problem:

Quite a few years ago now, a couple of years from new, my Samsung Syncmaster 740BF LCD monitor starting playing up by making a buzzing noise and then the display would go blank. I seem to remember the blue power led would also go off when this happened but that I'm not 100% sure of. By pressing the power button I do remember I could at first get it working again but eventually the problem would come back. At the time I had read about...

Samsung UN40H5003 boot loop every ~8 seconds
                    by eigma
Hi, I rescued a Samsung UN40H5003AF (H = 2014 FHD) from the curb. Symptoms are: standby (red) light comes on, stays on for 8 seconds, flickers off, then comes back on, and the cycle continues.

                    Service manual: https://www.electronica-pt.com/esque...is-u8la-71272/

SMPS board: checked voltages, all seem normal (A13V = 12.8V, UD = 3.3V, PWM_BLU = 0.77V, PS_OnOff = 5.5V). Remove 10p cable to main board -> backlight comes on. I think this means SMPS board and backlight are good.
