    SyncMaster 740N problem

My SyncMaster 740N will power up but only the top quarter of the screen is visible. The bottom 3/4 contains fine horizontal lines and info can not be seem. All the caps on the circuit board look good. There are a couple of transformers on the board and they do not look burnt. Any help would be appreciated.

That is either a problem with the logic board, the connections between the logic board and the panel itself, or a bad panel. Disconnect and reconnect the ribbon cable between the logic board and the panel. Odds are a driver has failed in the panel.
