    Proview CY765 Slow start-up

Well, all hyped-up from my first monitor fix (HP1702) I bid for a broken Proview CY765 on Ebay,
and won it for the sum of 1 english pence! (and I collected it as it was local).
It apparently had a black screen which you could just see the image using a torch/flashlight.

Caps, I thought, me and Badcaps.net can fix that!

Imagine my dissapointment when I plugged it all in and everything worked perfectly!

Well it did the first time I switched it on.
Every time I switch it on from cold, it takes between 30 seconds and a minute
before the screen lights up and the flashing yellow light becomes green.
I suspect something is on it's way out.

I replaced a single bulging cap which didn't fix the slow start.
I'll post some pictures tomorrow, I took some last night but I must have been vibrating judging by the blurry photo's I took.
    I'll use a mini-tripod this time!

You might want to take a look at this thread : Proview Pro576 (Model 568) delays to start when cold.. I've seen that behavior on three different 15" LCDs from Proview. Maybe that applies to your unit too.
