Fault set has sound and backlights are on and nice and white
But no picture caps on invert were swollen so replaced
Fuse on tcon was open replaced now have 12v both sides but still no picture
Anyone repaired one of these Tcons or have circuit
It has an TPS65161 buck boast chip fitted and VDD seems to be at 0v which is from transistor Q5 marked L7x3b (note the x has a line under it) it does nor read... -

on 171PS15-4 check C171 if fitted and C124 &130 high voltage ceramic capacitors
if you can not test them replace them know to give this fault

check ic901 . Its a 3.3 volt regulator on main board
also check caps in this circuit C970 and c920 can also cause problems,

vestel tech note for mb70
so works on mb60 mb61 and mb70
also note this need P+ button instead of ok button on remote
so best to try both if trying to upload file

usb stick 17MB60 to cure Flashing Front LED fault which is now getting very common
Could all members do this when they see one of these sets
This is how to
Plug empty USB Stick in to usb port (must be empty else will try coping file from stick into tv !!)
Switch on set Access hidden Menu by
Pressing MENU button then 7935
select
Copy NVRAM data
You should get 2 to 7 bin files maybe more

this set get a red fog apear from the bottom full width comes and goes
sometimes flashes
sometime only 30mm high. some time nearly full height of screen (see picture)
tv program can be seen behind this red fog
if i scart out to second tv the set has perfect picture
On label
VS 155V
VE 162V
VSCAN -70V
V SET 173 V
VA 70
check all they were all with in one volt of what the label showed
have manual but not sure which board would cause... -
