Can you still see whats on the screen if you shine a light at it? does the backlight stay on? could be ccfl or inverter failure
I doubt you will find a service manual or schematic for AB

But Can you still see the video on the screen if you shine a light on it. If you can the fault might be a faulty inverter or ccfl, Open it up and provide some pictures of what is inside.

Re: need help on HMI allen bradley versaview 1700M

Check the voltages on the inverter plug when unit is first turend on. There are 6 wires, I suspect the two yellow are supply, the two black are ground, the single red could be inverter ON, and the white could be DIM
If the voltages stay the same when the display goes dark, the fault could be on the inverter or a bad ccfl lamp
I would guess the supply voltage will be 12 volts, inverter on is likely 5 volts, dim would be variable between 0-5 volts and might be a negative voltage

In that first picture of the logic board, and near the label [13AZ53-02-012] seems to be a legend for one of the plugs, I see:
                  pin 1-3 ??
                  pin 4 Bright
                  Pin 5 Back-Light ON\OFF
                  pin 6-7 GND

So what changed from when the screen works and when it goes dark?
What do you mean by tested with NEW backlight?
                      New CCFL lamps?
                      NEW inverter board?

thanks R_J when I tested I did not measure voltage before it went dark,I tested with New CCFL lamps.

Then yesterday it would not turn on at all so I took it apart and found that it has a switching regulator ic chip ( MA-1050 ) which I found some I bought 2 of them

I have bought from this seller a few times before

                            Hello everyone.
I am trying to repair an Allen and Heath Xone S2 mixer but need a schematic. I found the service manual on line but it is missing 4 pages.
When an input is connected to one of the four line / phono input channels I can hear the music in the cue / headphones but there is no output on the master, the input faders are doing nothing. I can connect the sound input to the mic / line inputs or the external input boards and there is sound on the master output. One of the 74HC4053D Multiplexer/Demultiplexer had blown on the slave PCB so I changed this, I also changed two of...

                            by trickartt
                            Hello Badcaps!

I am trying to troubleshoot my Allen & Heath Xone:02 DJ mixer. I have had this for somewhere close to 20 years and have played music through it in one form or another pretty much every single day since I've had it, though these days it's usually from a wireless streaming receptacle (Apple Airport) more than the turntables that are also connected to it.

This week my music stopped working, and after a bit of a wild goose chase, I realised my mixer was dead. I checked the 500mA fuse in the device beside the power supply and found it was blown, so I replaced...

Allen-Bradley SLC 500 PLC —> CPU fault what does mean
                            by sam_sam_sam
If you do not have the E-rom chip it gives you this error light ON
If you put the E-rom chip in the unit the run light come on and CPU fault light is on

This PLC is outside of the machine when testing it
Does this matter if outside of the machine to get this CPU fault light to be ON

                            by jaifraic
                            Hello,

I have a DJ mixer here, an Xone:92 by Allen & Heath.

When I turned it on, only magic smoke came out, so I turned it off again.
An optical troubleshooting has brought me quite fast to the
source of the smoke: two resistors look disproportionately black (see first pic)

Those are R73 and R74 on the master PCB. See second pic for the corresponding page of the service manual.
                            Behind those resistors are five OP-Amps (U3, U4, U5, U6 and U9).

My thought is that one (or more) of those is defective. I've measured...
