Re: Dell SE2416H -need help identifying a component
What is the P/N as printed on top of U703 (56953???) which has one of its leg connected directly to the 'E' pin of D110? That may give a clue as to what D110 is.Never stop learning

Re: Dell SE2416H -need help identifying a component
Exactly but those smd markings are very hard to read correctly...I took a risk and turned on monitor without diode...It worked ok but hdmi input was not detected...So i took measurments and i have concluded that missing diode was powering a U110 eeprom from U703 and 5v from hdmi connector (pins labeled B and E of D110,pin C goes straigt to 8 pin vcc of U110)...So i put BAT54C diode in place...I had to replace the U110 eeprom because it was also fried. 24c02 replaced with 24c04 and freshly programmed and voila...Works as it should...
Dumps for future use are in attachment. PN number of this board is slighly different from the one in dump but worked...

by BowlineMy question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?
Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the inside of a Dell PT434 battery and/or a description of how the control lines work to control this battery?
My reason for asking is I have a battery which I cannot get to charge beyond 1% in a Dell E6410 or E6400.
The LED bar graph charge indicator on the battery shows one LED lighted when the info button is pressed.

by ngethinGuys could someone help please, I need a BIOS files but I can't figure out the BIOS chip on the motherboard to extract an image. I'll attach an image of the board, if someone that has some experience could point me in the right direction please. I already tried a WINBOND_25Q80DVNIG (1MB) to the right of the battery connector, and also a WINBOND_25Q16JWNIQ (2MB) at the bottom of the GPU but both the images are too small. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

by trepachkaI have a Dell Precision 5570 with both left side USB-C ports not working. The right side USB-C port is working just fine. While poking around the CYPD6228-9 IC chip responsible for handling the left side ports, I found a short which points to this particular IC chip with markings "XE1" (PU3006). I currently do not have either the schematics or the boardview for this particular motherboard. So, I am hoping someone can tell me what this IC chip is.
I am attaching an image of the chip. Thank you... - Loading...
