I finally decide to fix up my Paps' system and the LCD decides it wants to go bad. What will happen is the image will start flickering really dark and sometimes go away completely so that all I"m left with is a white screen; sometimes half the screen is brighter than the other half, and sometimes it just goes black, but sometimes the image comes back nice and bright. Figures it would be right after I "had to go and touch it."

Is it a caps thing or maybe the backlight is going bad?

Check your manufacture date on back of LCD if it is less than 3 years and paps have receipt for it, have it repaired.

I'm sure it was less than 3 years, but when we got it it was the last one, the floor model.

Still applies, no matter, the receipt is your final say on 3 year warranty date.

Get crackin' on the warranty proces.
