LG 23EA63 - Taking forever to show picture!

    Hey guys,

Had nothing but problems with this secondary LG monitor of mine (LG 23EA63)

When i first bought it,was fine for a couple of weeks then it would take absolutely forever to show a picture,It would turn on instant..but not show a picture anywhere from 5-20 mins,Then it would stay on and be fine until i turn it off again.

I RMA,d it,They said they fixed it..was okay for some time then, but same issue again now..but my warranty has expired.

I've bought and tried another(genuine) external power brick,Just incase the PSU was the problem,Changing that did nothing.

Now if it does manage to show a picture instantly from pressing the on button im either greeted by this sort of stuff..lines and messed up colours.

OR it simply just forever to show a picture again on the screen.

The weird thing is,It does not do this all the time,Sometimes i can switch the monitor on and it comes on fine..no waiting,No weird stuff going on with the screen.

I'm just lost to what the cause of this issue is,Is it simply just a bad monitor and i got unlucky?

I have opened up the monitor,re-seated all internal cables to make sure none had come loose,Still same issue.
Im wondering if its the power brick again,This is the second one i have bought..but they're like £25 a pop for a new one,And if that doesn't sort the issue im £25 down and still with a dead monitor. :/

    Really appreciate any feedback.

Hi and thanks for your reply,I'm in talks with LG right now to see if my monitor is still in warranty (i doubt it)..but if it isn't im going ive asked them how much would it be for them to send it for repair.

Im betting this will be very expensive though.

Il await their reply,If its out of warranty or too expensive to get repaired il open it up again and take some pictures for you guys.

LG dont seem to be very co-operative..they asked me for date of purchase/receipt 2 days ago which i no longer have, and said that to them,And i asked them okay if its not in warranty any more how much would it be for you guys to send it off for a repair for me..still waiting on a reply from them.

If they dont reply back to me im done buying LG products.

I've found a matching board for this monitor on Ebay,But its listing had ended so im unsure if it had actually sold or not,I have messaged the seller.

T-con suspect issue. Both ribbon cables no picture. One ribbon cable ok. (58pus8545)
            by Tr0ll
Hi guys! I realized you have a lot of knowledge here so i am hoping you could point me in right direction with my odd issue.

The Tv is a Philips 58PUS8545/12, it had no picture but working backlights.

            Original T-con:
Opened the Tv and tested to unplug one ribbon cable at a time. With this test i could see that i got fine picture on both halves as long as there was only one ribbon cable connected, with two connected picture were gone.

            First replacement T-con:

I thought it might be t-con and ordered new t-con from china(supposedly tested)...

SAMSUNG UN55KS9000F picture fades then distorts into vertical lines after 20 seconds
            by JJAAMM
This was my main TV for the last 6 years. I'm not inclined to throw out a $2600 TV so quickly so I'm trying to investigate the issue.

            Problem
TV was disconnected from power for 6 months during construction. When I plugged it yesterday picture was fine, after 30 seconds it dimmed then started developing horizontal lines, picture then starts to ghost vertically until it degrades into vertical streaks. TV always displays a perfect picture when cold. I can unplug TV for 5 minutes and plug it back in and picture is restored for 20 seconds. I can also keep it in standby mode...

Samsung TV model UE50TU: rebooting, backlight, sound, but no picture
            by TR103
            Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:
            - sound and backlight, but no picture
            - when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds
            - it keeps rebooting
            - without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
            - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
            - when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

            - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel and with a jumpered...

            Schenker VIA 15 PRO, PF 4NU1F V1.0, P/N: MBPPF4NU18-F310 - 36mA in stand-by
            by FriedFred
            Hello, everyone!
I have here a Schenker VIA 15 PRO, with this numbers on the board: PF 4NU1F V1.0 and P/N: MBPPF4NU18-F310 .
I took out the memory and the battery and the SSD.

So, in stand-by, only the board, takes 36mA. No power-button pressed at all, I can measure 1.8V, 3.3V, 5V. All coils present voltages except the two power rails for the CPU. The CPU is a AMD Ryzen 5 4600H.
After pressing the power-button, the current raises to 500mA and the two power rails for the CPU show up with 0.8V.
After several seconds, the fans switch-off and the board keeps powered...

Samsung UN60EH6000F Black Screen, Backlight and Sound Good. Power Cycle Returns Picture
            by Mgiffune
I have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.

I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and
