Ok so I purchased this laptop originally thinking that it had an LCD not an led screen in it. The problem is it just dosent have any backlight. I can see an image but very dim. I tested the voltage on the screen at the test points by the cable on the led. I was making sure that we had 3.3v as indicated to have but I only have 3.10v. Could this be enough to not power up the backlight?. I tested the fuse that they say can blow and not allow backlight to work but continuity checks out on that fuse. I'm at a loss the laptop is only a few years old and I wouldn't suspect that the screen is bad already..any ideas?

by diamonI have a Dell Latitude 5530 with a damaged RJ45 network connector. See the attached pictures.
Have already searched on Farnell / Aliexpress / Ebay and had contact with several suppliers on Aliexpress and Ebay, but they cannot deliver this connector.
Is there someone inside the EU, who has these connector(s) or perhaps defective motherboard(s) for these laptop models I have mentioned in the topic title.
Pictures of these boards:

by VenDell Latitude 3510 (Intel Core i7-10510U) CPU Overheating
Issue Description:- CPU Overheating to 100°C
- When I start the laptop from a cold state, it takes about a minute to reach temps around 80-90-100°C, and CPU thermal throttling triggers.
- When the CPU fan is running at full speed (by disconnecting PWM and TACH cables), CPU temperature stays around 50-60°C.
- However, when the fan is connected normally to the motherboard, it does not kick in at high temperatures.
- I also noticed a few times that the fan kicked in for a very short time, but it does not stay on consistently.

by D3D_TrayHey guys,
so my half-year out of warranty Dell Latitiude 5320 (19817-1 SOUTH PEAK 13 10L) w/ i5-1145G7 and 16GB just started to act weirdly...
The first/upper USB-C/TB port suddenly didn't accepted the charger every time and sometimes only a different one... or with a different cable but so far, the self-diagnostics didn't noticed anything so I suspected a dirty port.
Today however... it stopped completely to accept a charger, the second/bottom one however does and after a half an hour, I notice something getting hot under there... blazing hot!

by CornitoHello Team,
I'm back with another backlight issue that I thought was simple, but it turned out to be more complex than expected.
Let me provide a brief history: The TV was working well, then one day, the backlight started and shut down. I thought I had an LED issue leading to this behavior, so I replaced the LEDs with brand new ones. However, the issue remains the same.
Next, I replaced the electrolytic capacitors attached to the LED power supply, but the results were the same. I then replaced the driver, a OB3365RP, and did it twice due to the same result.... -
by cheebsterHello, got an iPad Pro A2378 12.9 5th gen with no backlight. Got another test unit without screen, tested the screen, still no backlight with the test unit.
Figured out the backlight on the screen was bad, ordred a new backlight from mobilesentrix, *carefully replaced it* without damaging the lcd, oh well.
Final result, issue is still there, the screen has no back lights. So i'm back to square one, with 3 hours less and 100$ out, issue still on the screen.
The panel is still ok, i can see the apple in the middle of the screen when it kicks in, just no backlight.
