lg 34um95 ultra wide monitor need help.

My monitor seems to be having an issue. There is a black vertical line on the right side of the screen when turned on. Pictures will be provided. The problem does not lie with any of the cables as I have tried them with other monitors and the line does not appear on those. That leads me to believe there is an issue with the monitor itself. Need any professional help in diagnosing what the problem might be and if it can be repaired. Thanks in advance.

If you are lucky it is a failure of one of the cables inside the monitor which connects the panel to the main board.

Take the back off and post photos showing the insides so we can see how it's connected

Alright took some more pictures. By the look of it the board looks fine and so do the cables. Do you guys see anything different?

Those 4 cables with red stickers on them are the data connections to the panel. You can try unplugging and plugging them back in in case there is a loose connection.

Can you get a better image of one of the connectors? I am not sure what type it is and some are tricky to do without breaking them.

Alright I jumped ahead and unplugged each cable one by one and plugged them back in . Unfortunately the line still remains. Any other ideas?

Unfortunately I think it's probably a panel failure then.

If it's the mainboard, it may be fixable, but I am not sure where to start looking. Someone else can hopefully provide some ideas or other tests you can try.

Normally, I never post repairs this quick after I do them, because… I am usually very slow. But today, I’m making an exception here. Why? No idea. Perhaps only because the repair details are still “fresh” in my head… which is ironic, given this is a 16 year old monitor that hardly anyone will care about today. It is new to me, though. I picked it up last November from someone on my local Craigslist. It wasn’t very close to where I live, but was close to a family friend that I had to go visit anyways. So after watching the posting on Craigslist for a few weeks and seeing it getting...

                  by wattage
                  Hello Badcaps Community,

I purchased a preowned AOC monitor that is not working and out of warranty. It was sold as not working. I am looking for guidance on self-repair. In particular, I am after the firmware for the monitor. At the end, I have included monitor model information and links to pics and vids of the issue.

The problem is that it will not display a picture on any of its inputs. And the on-screen menu does not appear. The power button works properly. It powers on with the remote as well. But the on-screen menu does not appear, even when not connected to any...

Lately I am experiencing the deja-vu incident on one of the led monitor like this.
