I have this monitor that roughly every few minutes, the image would turn solid black for a frame or 2. It is infrequent but annoying and I'd like to stop it somehow. I have tried: swapping power supplies, different video cable, all 3 video inputs on the monitor, and 3 different computers. Since the symptoms doesn't change, the issue is likely with the monitor;
Monitor has EAX69731901 board with video and power input, menu control joystick, LCD output and backlight output: https://i.imgur.com/OkrBoi1.jpeg
I couldn't find any info on repairing this monitor and the only hit I have when searching for EAX board is a seller on Taobao and unanswered posts on Reddit.
The board shows no sign of damage but what are the chance it's bad caps? There are 3 total plus 2 empty spots. And if the replacement caps does not fix the issue, what else could I do? I do not fancy reballing or swapping the main chip as I don't have the tool to remove, reball, or solder on any BGA chips. I have looked on eBay for 32GK650F and there are replacement boards but they are different, possibly used for older revision? Bigger too, odds are it won't fit unless I modify the metal housing and redo the screw posts. The cheapest whole monitor starts at $100 shipped (broken LCD) and $200+ (working.)
