Vizio VMM26 F20I with "2 seconds to black"

Hiya-

The monitor does the 2 seconds to black and the white Vizio logo stays white. With a flashlight you can see the stuff on the screen.

So I've followed some of the suggestions here and managed to get this disassembled.

Please see the pics I've attached.

So at first I saw the crispy looking cap labeled c519 and thought I'd just need to replace that and I'd be done. But then I noticed all of this other white goopy stuff (stop me if I'm getting too technical here)... is that bad? I guess I'm guessing it's bad but hoping it's not so I don't have to replace all of those things too.

What say you?

No one knows what the white stuff is in those pics?

They are just glue to hold components in place during wave soldering process so the components will stay in place.

You have burnt out ballast cap.
Same board as used in LP2626, all 4 caps should be replaced.
