    Lenovo laptop display isn’t working

    Hello,

    I’ve inherited a laptop from my brother as he’s bought another.

    However, the screen isn’t displaying correctly. See the image for the full picture.

    He mentioned that it wasn’t instant - it progressively got worse over time, and it used to sometimes work by tilting the laptop. Although, it looks completely broken now.

    It’s worth noting that the laptop screen seems a little loose.

    Any help/guidance would be appreciated.

      The screen is broken. 100%.
      The impact started on the right side in the bottom of it.

      You have to replace screen.

          That sux,,, smashed screen. There is no fixing the old screen, needs an replacement.

              Hi. Could anyone on the forum help me find the cause of the problem?
              The board is LA-B111P Rev:1A comes from Lenovo Y50-70.

              I have a identified the damaged R205 resistor, and connect a jump wire over it So it restores the backlight but causing strange problems

              1. With Battery ONLY plugged in laptop works fine
              2 .With Charger ONLY plugged in laptop works fine as well

              Hello,
              on this laptop hp g72 b52sf i have screen problems as you can see with the photo joined in attachments.
              the used graphic card is "intel hd graphics" and the id of the integrated screen is : "monitor/SEC3354".
              i verified the driver of the péripherals and they are ok. i verified the definition and settings of the graphic card and of the screen : definition 1600x900 and refreshment frequency :60hz. (they are the sames for the graphic card and the screen).
              i don't understand the reasons of the white stripe at the bottom of the screen below the task...
