I have an older Samsung monitor with some bad capxon caps. I need 3 470uf, 25v and 2 1000uf 10 caps. What would be a better brand name and a good place to get them? I see I can order NTE from the Radio Shack? Thanks! Tom

Unfortunately, those caps from Radio Shack will not work. You need low ESR capacitors since it's a power supply. AND, since CapXon makes horrible quality caps, you will want to replace ALL of them, otherwise you may be doing this again in the future. Usually you can leave the big single (400 or 450V cap) alone, and replace the rest. So list all of the values you have so we can post some proper replacements for you. I have seen even the smallest CapXon caps fail. And they fail faster since monitors usually run pretty hot.
