I fear my monitor is going to die soon.
I found this thread after searching for support on my 28" monitor; I-INC iF281D which every morning displays a few seconds then black, then flashes back on for a fraction of a second until I turn the monitor off count to 10 turn it back on and it generally works. Sometimes it takes a second turn off to work correctly. It'll work all day long then; next morning the same happens. I have no clue what's wrong but found a nice thread which leads me to believe one day it'll just stop coming back to life/bright. Please move if in the wrong place. I'll check back in a day or two to see if this was moved or replied to.

But today, I’m making an exception here. Why? No idea. Perhaps only because the repair details are still “fresh” in my head… which is ironic, given this is a 16 year old monitor that hardly anyone will care about today. It is new to me, though.
