I am sorry for not telling you who i am and what i do for business. i will try to fix monitor and get back to let you know the result, i hope i will repair with replacing those two resistor of 100k ohm, will clean bord on that spot of melted glue....the quieter you become the more you are able to hear...Comment

i replace 2 resistor, and monitor turn on. But here and then go off. Blue led working but no picture....the quieter you become the more you are able to hear...Comment

the monitor is working for now, but i noticed that when i turn on it is darken, and after 1-2 min brightness is OK. Can you help me with this?...the quieter you become the more you are able to hear...Comment

This may be due to failing capacitors. Does it happen if you switch it off then on again
after 2 or 3 minutes or is it just on a cold start - say after its off for a couple of hours.Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

i figure it out, when i unplug my TV (HMDI) from graphics card, all OK. So the TV was making problem....the quieter you become the more you are able to hear...Comment

i assembled it yesterday (after i replace the 2 x resistor 100K Ohm). When i turn it on, it worked for 5 minutes and then again no picture just blue button. I turn it off and then turn ON, and it's working since then. Should i be worried that problem will come back?...the quieter you become the more you are able to hear...Comment

Impossible for us to guess - you will just have to keep testing- switching on and off after
different periods of time.Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

Hello, I'm new to the group and to trying to repair a LCD TV. During the past few years, I've been collecting/repairing/restoring vintage personal computers (Commodore, Apple II, Atari, TRS-80, Texas Instruments, and Timex Sinclair). This has been my retirement hobby. Now I've gotten interested in trying to repair a LCD TV that I have and used regularly when working on vintage computers.
The LCD I'm working on is a Insignia NS-LCD019. I've downloaded the service manual that I could find, but it must be a different revision since not too many items in the service manual match the TV... -
