Howdy....
Searched through the archives, but did not find a problem like this. My HG281D is now producing a noticeable "pop" when when changing resolutions. I first noticed this sound when using a KVM to switch between computers connected to the monitor. The two computers were running at different resolutions and toggling between them eventually produced this popping noise.
Later, I removed the KVM and attached the monitor to one computer. It still pops each time the computer boots and screen resolution switches from boot resolution (1280-960?) to 1920x1200. Does this popping sound indicate that I have a cap problem? Could it be the inverter? What else could it be? The monitor works great and has no other problems, but I am concerned this popping sound could be a harbinger of things to come. Any thoughts or experience with such a problem would be appreciated. Thanks!
