    Thanks again

No, I hear nothing like what you mention:

"noise between the On and then OFF , like a hiss, or a red/pink hue in the screen?"

    Nope.

My screen does the same things as it did before I replaced all the caps as described in this thread.

When connected to [power] and a video source, I see blue surround light at power button in the bezel, and all online images on the LCD, EVERYTHING, for about 2 seconds, and then it goes black.

I can also hit the [MENU] button and see the MENU for a brief time, but this does not repeat.
I am not sure if I do that before replacing the caps.

I see the [analog/digital] display upper left for a few seconds, then black.
This also does not repeat, unless I power down, and up again.

      Thanks again!
      No sound or pink hue?
If you connect it to a video signal, you should be able to see the screen (dimmed) when the lamps go out by using a flashlight. If you can't, besides the inverter/backlights we have another problem.
I was checking my notes and I had changed lots (lots...) of lamps on that model because one dies...I assume you don't have another unit to use the lamps to test, right?

I'm more of a motherboard guy and EGuevarae is more of a screen guy so since you are past the caps change I'm going to let EGuevarae take the lead and I'll just sort of lurk and play side-kick.

          Hello EGuevarae

Yes, the image is normal for about 2 seconds, and after that I can see it very dimly using a flashlight.
I have a small Sony model SDM-X52 that works fine.
Could I test with that one?

          Thanks!

          Another thing.
I think that the dim backround image was a little easier to see before I replaced all the caps.
I think that I could just barely see light and dark areas without using the flashlight.
Now I need the flashlight for sure.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

            Assuming...

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

Upgrading a Samsung ue55nu7096u with logic board from an ue55ru7105k -- good idea?
            by ohren
I hope this is the right forum to post in despite not technically being a repair, but still a question of swapping boards.

I thought I'd explore the possibility to upgrade an existing working Samsung ue55nu7096u with the logic board (and power board if needed) of a newer model (ue55ru7105k) of the same size and appearance (and resolution). The reason being I'd like the extra inputs of that board including component in, an extra HDMI port and bluetooth. Its panel is broken so I have no use for the board otherwise.

The models launched in 2018 and 2019 respectively....
