HG281D Screen flickering on one side

Hello there. I am new to the forums and it seems that you all deal a bit with the Hanns G HG281D model. I recently was given this monitor with the knowledge that it was not in working order. When I turn it on the right side of the screen flickers very fast while the left side does nothing. Then the power light turns orange. If I hook it up to a PC I get the right side of my desktop to show but it constantly flickers and nothing ever comes up on the left side. The monitor does not shut off ( even after 1hour of leaving it on) so I doubt it is the power supply. From what I have gathered around the internet I need to replace the logic board. The only thing I can find is this http://www.shopjimmy.com/hannstar-70...-con-board.htm

Is that all I should need to get it back up and going? I have checked all the caps on the power supply and their is no bulging / leaking caps. Thanks for the help and hopefully I can get it going soon.

    Thanks

It may well be the screen itself,so unless you are very very certain it is the Logic Board,I would not be spending money on a replacement.

I repair one monitor simply by changing several capacitors (the one which looks bas, including the big one). I bought them on aliexpress (I first bought first the esr meter also from ali to test the capacitors).

Surprisingly, it worked (I don't understand electronic)

Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Gen 10 - Flickering Screen
          by Ado02
          Hello everyone,

We recently replaced the OLED screen on a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Gen 10. After about a month, the replacement screen began to flicker. Initially, updating the IntelĀ® IrisĀ® Xe graphics driver resolved the issue for about a week. However, when the problem recurred, updating the driver again had no effect.

The flickering only occurs once the system reaches the Windows login screen. Interestingly, if we disable the Intel GPU driver or connect the laptop to an external monitor, the flickering stops. We have tried installing two different replacement screens,...

Macbook 2017 with touchbar (A1706) won't turn on after removing the screen
          by Ryan.man
Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

Macbook Air M2 A2681 Kernel panics after screen replacement
          by reformatt
Just had a customer bring in a M2 MBA A2681 that had had a screen replacement in April at another repairer. Since then, she has been getting intermittent kernel panics. It's an aftermarket screen, and of course it fails in diagnostics as the calibration hasn't been done. The error in the panic log is "No device added after powering on the rails".

It seems the original repairer has swapped the board and the screen to other MAC's, and said that it isn't a screen issue. From what I understand, by doing a quick search on Google, this is in fact a screen issue. The panic relates...

HP ENVY HP 13-aq1013dx - screen flickering black if using touchpad or external mouse

This device came in due to the screen flickering if you use the touchpad or external mouse. It will flicker black when this occurs. If you use the touchscreen, the behavior does not appear. Also, if connected to external monitor, the external monitor is not affected by the flickering. I did a good amount of research on this, and concluded that it is due to the display driver. HP does not offer Windows 11 drivers for this model so I got the replacement drivers direct from Intel. I installed them and the problem...
