I-INC HSG1064 smps humming or buzzing

Hi all I have this 25" I-INC that i replaced the CCFL lights and then it worked for like 3 months then 2sec to black.

I found that one of the driver smd mosfets were shorted and i replaced it.

now the pled well stay on and backlight go out and i get a humming or buzzing when there is no backlights are on. but for the short time the back lights go on the buzzing goes away then comes back when back lights go out.

sounds like its coming from smps you know the big yellow one. when i look at some of the outputs on my scope i see that some have solid line (dc) and some ac and dc thats what it looks like anyways and i had my scope on dc settings. i well get photos soon.

thank you for any and all replys

LG 55LM6200 buzzing / humming power board

Having replaced a brand new full led backlight set and fixing a mainboard fault (power-on transistor) theres now a louder than normal hum / buzz coming from the power board in the AC filter, namely in the LF101 / 2 area, or at least thats where the sound is more resonant whilst the backlight is set at 100%. Turn down the backlight to 50% its less noticeable and 0% its non-audible.

When the rear case is fitted back on its more audible and its certainly more than an acceptable level so would rather solve than leave like it.

Onkyo DX-V500 Laser Disc Player - weird SMPS fault
    by dkneyle
This relic from a technology path that came to a dead end (but still has historical interest) was brought in with a dead SMPS, which is based around a MK1210 device. I got it going after a battle. It seems to have a strange design - if it's not getting feedback that the secondary is OK it cause the big FET to go into full conduction and overloads resulting in a blown fuse at best or something worse! I'm using a Dim Bulb Tester (70W/230V) which thankfully has saved the day a number of times whilst repairing.

Now, it loads a CD OK. The motor voltage output (which is built onto the SMPS...

Don't seem to be able to track down where the buzz/hum is coming from on the X and Y main boards. Its more audible on the Y board. Possibly an acceptable level coming from the X board once the rear cover is back on.

Resoldered joints, found a few that looked like they needed it. Checked caps which seem ok on the X/Y and psu.

In standby theres no hum/buzz, only when its switched on. Turning the brightness up makes no difference to the...

    PowerMac G5 ACBel 614-0303 buzzing
    by dcbw
The PSU works, but shortly after powering on (either in the G5, or by shorting the power-on pin to ground) it begins buzzing loudly. It also makes the LED lights connected to the same circuit flicker. It's definitely a buzzing, not a high pitched whine.

The buzzing seems to come from the high voltage side of the board, perhaps from the white relay. Could the relay be bad, or could the 5V supply be bad enough that it's unable to keep the relay on? Any pointers to help isolate the issue? Thanks!

Huntkey HK340-72FP SMPS shut on load above 2 amps
    by abhishekkumar1902
I have this Huntkey HK340-72FP PC SMPS where I am facing a strange problem where the SMPS shuts down when the load on any of its 12v output rails goes above 2 amps while the rating of each 12v rail is above 10amps capable.

    I have checked the following:
    1. All output caps are OK, and all output rails read correct voltages at no load
    2. All output diodes are OK
    3. NTC is ok
    4. Hi voltage cap on input correctly reads 150uF on LCR meter per the spec, also the bridge rectifier is OK
    5. No short in main switching MOSFET
    6. All other components...
