Don't seem to be able to track down where the buzz/hum is coming from on the X and Y main boards. Its more audible on the Y board. Possibly an acceptable level coming from the X board once the rear cover is back on.
Resoldered joints, found a few that looked like they needed it. Checked caps which seem ok on the X/Y and psu.
In standby theres no hum/buzz, only when its switched on. Turning the brightness up makes no difference to the sound level of the hum.
The tv switches on and works fine with a good picture.
Voltages on the main steady and look good:
I appreciate the age of the tv and usage is probably high so likelihood is aging/failing panel but thought I'd see if the problem can be solved first.
On writing this I noticed a 'Cell Light' setting in the menu which was set to max (20), lowering this does make a difference to the audio level of the hum/buzz but only marginal.
Disconnecting either the t-con to Y-main or the t-con to X-main ribbon cable stops the hum/buzz!
Disconnecting only the t-con to main or the 2 t-con to panel ribbon cables make no difference, still hums.
