    So I opened the LCD and lo and behold the wiring is damaged on the top right corner (same corner with the arcing sound). See attached pic. Any good place to get replacement ccfl other than http://www.ccflwarehouse.com/. Thanks Guys.

        Can't fix the wiring? A little bit of wire and some silicone sealant should be good. Just -wait- 12 hours for the stuff to fully cure.

        CCFL Warehouse is probably one of the best around with a huge selection. Goods are professionally packed and shipped.

            Toasty: I fixed the wiring myself and used some liquid electrical tape instead of silicone which cures in 15 minutes. I am typing on it right now. Working perfectly. Thanks much guys.

                Here some more pictures of the CCFL wiring on 2007WFp.
                This monitor was having the 2 second to black, But also having some real violent flickering of the CCFLs.
                There were 5 CCFLs with problems.
                Luckily I had the correct adapters, to be able to substitute CCFLs.
                You can see some darkening on the ends of the CCFLs,But this one will be able to be repaired with some rewiring.
                Its full of elite caps that I will also replace.

                    My question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?

                    Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the inside of a Dell PT434 battery and/or a description of how the control lines work to control this battery?

                    My reason for asking is I have a battery which I cannot get to charge beyond 1% in a Dell E6410 or E6400.

                    I bought this p2210f dell monitor to fix. Schematic is the same as p2210.
                    Behaviour is that monitors comes on but then backlight switches off almost instantly. If I look with flashlight I can still find the "No signal message". So definitely a backlight issue. Trying to advance the issue I proved that the protection circuit is switching off the backlight by shorting out C3 and resistor to disable the INL chip then re enable by removing the short.
                    This is where it gets interesting. When I disassembled the monitor to solder leads on c3 capacitor I noticed the backlight flickered...

                    I have an Eizo SX3031W monitor and after a period i had problems with the tcon board. I did reflow, it went well for a while after but the problems appeared again. The second reflow attempt was a failure, the tcon board stopped working. In the meantime, I bought a perfectly functional Samsung 305T monitor from which I took the tcon board and installed it in the Eizo monitor. Since I turned on the monitor, the blue color appeared in the background instead of black. And also in Windows, appears blue instead of black.
