    Belnea 2025 S1

I have one Belnea monitor which has started to turn off within a min of turning on.

Ive pulled the unit apart and found the following that seem buldged and need replacing.

    Buldging and/or leaking already
    1x Ltec 1000uF 25V LZG 105c
    2x CrapXon 470uF 25V GL 105c

    Some Others
    TaiCon 120uF 400v 105c (AQ)P
    CapXon 2200uF 10v GL 105c
    TaiCon 680uF 10v 105c (PW)P
    TaiCon 220uF 25v 105c (PW)P
    Ltec 47uF 50v 105c LZG

I know all the buldging ones need changing but having trouble working out what series of Rubycon/Panasonic are best to go with.
The other caps should realy be changed but they show no current signs of damage.

I'd replace all except the 120uF, 400V with Panasonic FM (preferred) or FC. You probably can't get 47uF, 50V in FM series, so go with FC. If that one fails it won't show any signs.

      Re: Belnea 2025 S1

      1) Capacitors die from age, heat, and shoddy build quality. Capacitors DO NOT have to be visibly bloated in order to bad. They can be out of tolerance uF (a 1000uF measures 20uF) and/or have high ESR (ohm). A multimeter will be insufficient to test for ESR. For that you need an ESR tester which costs between $50 and $300.

Most members here will recommend that you replace ALL electrolytic capacitors, except the largest one which rarely, but not never, fails with reputable brands from reputable sellers. Brands like Rubycon, Panasonic, and United Chemicon are suggested. A list of recommended caps can be found at

Delta DPS-300AB-24b 300 Watt ATX PSU recapping
        by momaka
Figured I’d separate the recapping details of this PSU in a different thread so that the information can be easier to find. To be more specific, this thread is about recapping of the Delta DPS-300AB-24b, shown here. All details about the build quality of that PSU are posted there.

Here is the PSU, just to see what we are dealing with:

And here is a cap diagram:

Let’s break it down what goes where…

        * 5VSB
*** cap spot C952: Ltec LZG, 10V, 2200 uF, 10x30 mm before PI coil
        *** cap spot C953: Taicon PW, 10V, 680 uF,...

        Picking caps for Antec SU-380
        by ajdrenter
In my search for a proper 5v heavy ATX power supply, I selected an old Antec SU-380 that I've had in storage for a long time. Opening the power supply reveals a couple bulged capacitors. I removed all the caps and made a map for myself. I found the datasheet for the PCE TUR series in this thread:
        https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=14159
It says these are general purpose, so I assume I can replace them with any general purpose capacitors, but I don't really know anything about power supply circuits or reading capacitor datasheets. Despite this, I've been shopping for replacements:...

        Mac mini M4 (A3238) Ripped Chip - Schematics+BoardView Needed
        by ee91137
        Hi,

I'm looking for assistance with a Mac mini (M4, 2024), model A3238 (Model MCYT4LL/A), which I recently purchased. The front USB-C ports are not providing power.

Upon inspection, I've identified that a chip and an adjacent capacitor have been physically ripped off the logic board near the SSD connector.

Could anyone provide information on the specifications of this missing chip? Additionally, I would greatly appreciate it if anyone has access to the schematics and board view for the Mac mini A3238 logic board.

        Thanks for your help!

        A1289 Mac Pro "Early 2009" PSU (ACBel FS8001-291H, 614-0455)
        by MeltedDuron
So a couple of days ago I picked up a 2009 8-core Mac Pro in "as seen" condition at a price that was too good to pass up, got it home, eventually managed to install OS X on it, and then it died while downloading updates. This machine looks like it was used for heavy video editing work as it still had a Blackmagic capture card and two GPU's installed, but I expect we'll see a lot more of these 2009 Mac Pro PSU's failing soon.

After it died, the machine made some clicking noises, like it was trying to fire a relay but something wasn't working right, so it kept randomly clicking...
