Electric noise on a HP 1955

    Hello,

Sorry for this thread but I don't have founded any informations on all other thread concerning these type of monitors

My first problem was the monitor shutdown after some minutes. Repaired by resolder all transformers/transistors/fuse.

But now I have always a noise when I turn ON this monitor and stop after 1-2sec when backlight is ON and have a permanent little noise like a bzzzz.
Someone can help me to solve this problem or it's normal on these monitors ?
(Don't have use this monitor before have this problem.)

I have check solder, change one cap because was a little bubbled but nothing change for this noise
And it's really hard to know from where come the noise.

If someone have an idea or already solved this problem ...
Fuse ? It's possible or most probably a transformer ?

Thx you very much in advance and thx for other great post about this monitor !

The noise is normal and it's either coming from the inverter transformers (some varnish brushed over them will fix that) or from the CCFL lamps themselves (where it cannot be fixed). I had a Samsung where the lamps themselves were making that noise when the brightness was lower than 78%.
