HP L1710 starts fine then solid white after a few seconds

I am having some trouble figuring what is going on with this. If someone has any ideas I would be grateful. I measure a consistent 5.2V at video board. When I first turn it on it works for maybe 15 seconds then solid white. If I turn it off and back on it works a little while shorter each time. No bulging caps on either board. I went a head and replaced one 470u 16V Elite on the PSU 5V rail with a 470u 25V Nichicon.
    Thanks in advance.

Check voltage regulators U701 and U702. List the part number for each and measure the DC voltage on each pin with respect to ground.

Measure the voltage when the signal is good and then when it is white.

Thanks for the fast reply. U701 is a 17-33L it has 5.2V in and 3.3V out . U702 is a 17-18L with a 5.2V in and 1.8V out. These voltages are the same when screen is working and when white.

Those readings look good. The only other suggestion I have at the moment is to replace the remaining caps on the logic board and retest.

The cable from the logic board to the panel might be bad/loose as well?

Thanks for the ideas. I have reseated the cable from the logic board to the panel several times with no improvement. I will replace the caps on the logic board and report back.

The fault is regularly associated with a problem on the 'tag board', thats the one at the top, attached to the screen.Suggest you check fuse/s on that.

I have a really weird problem, this motherboard was working normally, someday it just started and all fans were running but didn't want to post, tried resetting bios, checking CPU and it was getting warm tried external gpu, flashed bios with programmer, but same problem.
Next day after several attempts the board goes into protection mode, no more staying on, I turn on the PSU fans starts directly turning, it used to not start until I press the pwr button, now it starts directly and fans spins, and shuts off after 3 seconds sometimes less, then won't start again unless I unplug the PSU and...

Hello, I'm new to the group and to trying to repair a LCD TV. During the past few years, I've been collecting/repairing/restoring vintage personal computers (Commodore, Apple II, Atari, TRS-80, Texas Instruments, and Timex Sinclair). This has been my retirement hobby. Now I've gotten interested in trying to repair a LCD TV that I have and used regularly when working on vintage computers.

The LCD I'm working on is a Insignia NS-LCD019. I've downloaded the service manual that I could find, but it must be a different revision since not too many items in the service manual match the TV...
