I have a flickering problem. When I turn the brightness down from 100 % to 95% or lower it flcikers terribly. Looks like a power problem, and I have ordered caps. I am also having a sound problem. I have no sound. When I should have audio, all I get is a low buzz. I have verified the signal, by plugging the cable into another device, and it works fine. When I plug it into the monitor, I get a low buzz. low buzz = barely audible. If I click "mute" it stops, and comes back when I "unmute"
I figure if the caps are creating a power problem, it wold probably affect the audio as well. The information I found about the flickering says nothing about the audio. I guess most probably wouldn't bother to connect the audio, if the display was bad? It started OK. It was given to me, because it was bad, but the owner didn't seem to know exactly what was wrong with it. Worked OK, for a few days. The it wouldn't come out of "sleep" When I tried to "wake it up" I noticed that it was on full brightness. Turned it down, just a little, and saw the flickering, and turned it back to 100% The next day, it fell asleep, and wouldn't wake up. Somebody shouold have schematics. "Sams" maybe?
