hi all..
i got a Proview 19" monitor with a back light problem
I have replaced the bulging caps already and at least the monitor turns on now...
but i cant get the back light going..
Now i realist the are tow cathodes ( Backlights) in the pannel one at the top and one at the bottom.
if i disconnect the Top Cathode ( by not plugin the wires into the PSU) i get the monitor going for about 3-4 seconds before it cuts out... (see video)
if i plug it in It I get scrambled image...(see Video)
So i think the problem might be in the Inverter circuit somewhere for the top cathode ?
I am not very good with trouble shooting..
i have the following Pics..
note the PCB discoloration..
Possible problem in the White Square Plugs circuit for BackLight (top right corner)
