    Asus XG32V monitor with lines

    Hello.
I have here a Asus 32' curved display showing these lines.

A short clip of what shows when I turn it on.

    https://imgur.com/a/Z8fyqym

Here are some pictures of the boards. Visualy they seem fine.

There are lots of videos on Youtube on possible solutions, but I could not find a similar problem with a similar board layout.
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanx.

    Hey BMCappelletti,

I'm currently facing the exact same problem as you with an Asus ROG strix XG32VQ.
    Did you find a solution?

Did you replace the main board or something else?

    Cheers!

      No luck.
Listed it as "for parts" and someone bought it. Have no idead what was the issue.

          Hello,
I am currently trying to solve a similar problem on a vg32vq which has the same board. You could try disconnecting the daughter board of the panel from the main left one and see if you have picture on half the screen without the lines. In that case the problem is on the daughter board to the right. If you could send me a picture of the Ic Buck converter Chip on the daughter board with the resistors below it, it would help me a lot.

If someone has schematics for the board that wokld be great as well

Hi. It's been more than a year I posted this.
I don't have any of it anymore.

              Hi
I have exactly the same problem with the Samsung C32JG52QQU monitor
It has exactly the same LCD panel CY-PN315CGAV1F
When I disconnect the daughterboard of the panel, half of the screen is displayed correctly
I am sending a photo of the chip on the daughter board with the resistors below it
I replaced the G1564 chip with a new one but nothing changed
looking through a thermal imaging camera, there is no sign of anything heating up suspiciously
Maybe together we can come up with something

                Hi Madero,
                Pictures for your reference.
How to check & fix the issue?
I can follow your suggestions to test.
                Thanks a lot.

Hey thanks for the Picture. I am currently still trying to figure out the issue as well. Just fixing some stuff for a hobby and haven't worked on the monitor since. Maybe we can help each other? If you still have the picture I would be happy if you could send it to me. I am right now switching the IC and will check if that will solve the issue. In my case only the doughter board of the panel has an issue but I couldn't find any short, the ribbon cable seems to be good as well, taping the pins din't help either (sometimes some clck has an issue). In my case the picture fades black as soon as I plug in the daughter board. VGH, VGL and AVDD are dropping in voltage as soon as the daughter board is plugged. Especially VGH towards 0v.

The follow test data for your reference.
I'd buy these two board from LCD broken people.
The board no COF cable, so test these voltage just only no connected LCD panel.
I'd change all ICs (chipset), but the screen still shown green & some white line, like BMCappelletti's first picture.
I think this status not CTRL board & SOURCE board issue, I think it is COF cable fail or panel fail.
But I still waiting for your good news, hope you can find issue & fix it.

Do you maybe have the resistances of the rails to gnd? I would be interested what resistances you have especially on 12v, VGL, VGH and Avdd, Havdd. Do you have a different resistance on 12v when the mainboard (with the hdmi ports, etc) is plugged to the tcon board as without plugging it in? Does half your screen work when the source board is unplugged from the tcon board? Thank you!

What is your resistance on the coil L306 next to VGL1?

Normally, I never post repairs this quick after I do them, because… I am usually very slow. But today, I’m making an exception here. Why? No idea. Perhaps only because the repair details are still “fresh” in my head… which is ironic, given this is a 16 year old monitor that hardly anyone will care about today. It is new to me, though. I picked it up last November from someone on my local Craigslist. It wasn’t very close to where I live, but was close to a family friend that I had to go visit anyways. So after watching the posting on Craigslist for a few weeks and seeing it getting...

First, i dont work on monitors only on laptops and that also for a hobby. So, i received this monitor in the title and it was completely dead, and power supply when used was going off to a power protection. I found that one of the voltage regulators for backlight GS9238 is dead, so i replaced it and monitor is working fine now. But...on the main motherboard first thing i tested was a main power rail and after power jack there is one mosfet Nikos PD537BA. The thing is when i tested all pins of that mosfet are shorted in between. Now when i plug the adapter the monitor just goes on. I dont think...

ACER BM320 Monitor - Horizonal Flickering Lines After a While
                        by reessi
                        Hello,

The monitor started off showing flickering thin (1 pixel) lines horizontally every say 3mm..

They are black on the right and gradually fade to nothing on the far left.
They start either after 5 mins or up to 2 hours after so annoying for testing.
They flicker continuously very fast! With a slight pause milli-second every second.

Initially I cleaned the LVDS cable and connected to the T-Con and then it worked fine for 3 weeks but not sure if this was just co-incidence.

I tested each half by removing the first the left flex from...
