No Audio Bose Wave Music System AWRCC1 Am/fm CD Player

    Hi All,

I am working on Bose Wave Music System AM/FM CD Player Model AWRCC1. Suddenly NO AUDIO at all. Not from the AM/FM Radion & neither through the CD Player. I used the headphone, still no sound. Opened the unit & checked the motherboard to see any shorts or any blown components but all seem to be in a very good condition. The test of both speakers are fine & they work well. The display seems to be ok as I see when I switch over between radio/CD with teh remote control & the time shows good. Does any know what could be the problem or any kind of repair tips & if anyone could share the schematics for this model, it would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

most common failure is all the caps - including the SMD caps. lots of cap replacement to get this unit back in operation

Make sure there is nothing stuck in the headphone jack. Lube it and work the jack for a bit. Other than that, I would go straight to the amp and see what’s going on there.

Thank you so much for the tips. So you are saying to replace all the caps. They are 100s of them - ....Do you know the main amp ones, I think I will start from there. Does anyone have the schematic/service manual for this model to share with me. Thanks

Help troubleshooting an audio problem with an RCA SGT-250 CED Player
          by samson7point1@yahoo.com
The Problem: This player has a toggle switch to select between Stereo, Mono R, and Mono L. Regardless of the setting it outputs the sound to both the L&R audio jacks. In the Mono R position, the audio output level is normal (from both the L and R audio output jacks), in the Stereo position the audio output is about half the volume, and in Mono L, it's about 3/4 the volume. Something about putting it into Stereo mode is causing the volume to drop significantly and I can't figure it out.

The player processes the audio signal using two different reference frequencies. The "R"...

          Howdy everyone!

I have a SUV with a Bose audio system and I'm considering either a system upgrade, or purchasing a complete replacement system while bypassing the integrated Bose system.

On the Bose side, I have not found any specifications yet. It's a decent system but I'm, at a minimum, replacing all the factory speakers, head unit and adding an amp and two 8" subs. The Bose is a 2ohm system and I'm not certain about this point. In order to use a 4ohm set of speakers (component/loud), I would need to install 2 sets of 4ohm speakers wired in parallel to match the...

          Victrola multi-player - No audio
          by kokopelli75
          Hello!

My mother has a Victrola Navigator player that stopped functioning after a storm. I checked out what I could - all player functions appear to work, but there is no audio output in either the speakers or the headphone jack. I suspect (with my limited knowledge) that the amplifier part of the device is toast. Photo of the suspected board is attached. There's separate boards for front display, record player, etc. This board has a section for power regulation and a section for amp. There's a UTC7266 7+7W dual bridge amplifier IC and a CSC2314F sound processor IC on the board. Visually,...
