    Problem on YAMAHA RX-V379 receiver

    Hi guys,
i'm new on the forum. Recently i bought a Yamaha Rx-V379 receiver. Yesterday i was playng some game and suddenly the receiver turns off appearing CHECK SP WIRES. I turn on again with the protect bypass procedure and appears DC- PRT 000L. Consulting the rx v377 service manual (i think its almost the same schematics as the V379) it says the this is caused by an abnormal DC on power amplifier. The 000l says that no current is been measured at pin 141 of IC. I went to self diagnosis menu and it says that on DC is 000 when it should be between 058 - 088. But the other stuff like PS, USb, etc are all on normal range Any tips what could cause this? I'm suspecting on a output transistor but anyone of you have similar problem?
PS: sorry about english. I'm brazillian.

So check the output transistors for shorts. Just use a meter on them without removing.

Problem with LG Plasma 60PM6700 - Random power downs
        by theone111
I have an LG Plasma TV 60PM6700 for the past ~12 years.

In the last ~3-4 months I have been having some issues.
        1. Problem: It started with random picture disappearing (sound still worked).
Frequency: Happened about once a week.
Solution: Had to turn off TV wait a few seconds before turning it on again.
        2. Problem: Then it got worse and the TV started to shut down and when turning on the no picture just sound.
Frequency: Happened about once a week.
Solution: Had to turn off TV wait about 10-20 seconds and turn it on again to solve.
        3. Problem: TV shuts down

        Yamaha Msr400 Input Board Problem
        by falcontech
        Good morning everyone
I have a problem with this input module of an active speaker of the Yamaha (MSR400), the signal transmitted by this unit and sent after the EQ module and then end up the amplification form is lower than normal, I attribute the problem to this Module because with that of the twin box works perfectly, I thought of the three capacitors highlighted in the photos and that I have not yet replaced or the operational highlighted NJM2860L, the strange thing I noticed that by trying with the jack by pulling it a little out of the normal position the earnings is normal, while...

Pioneer VSX-1123 Receiver - weird voltage problem
        by pulper111
Hello. My receiver "seems" to be working fine. It functions as it should. the receiver is the Pioneer vsx-1123. However, while doing some work in the house, I noticed that my HDMI cable from the receiver was registering as "hot" using my fluke non-contact voltage tester.

I've done some troubleshooting to try to narrow down the problem, and all wires (speaker/hdmi/subwoofer) coming from the receiver, whether it's powered on or stand-by, register as "hot". none of my other receivers are experiencing this issue, so it doesn't seem to be an issue with...

        Yamaha DSP-AX861SE Sub problem

I really hope someone will be able to help me?

I have recently moved house and dismantled a working 5.1 home cinema
system. Unfortunately when putting it back together again I get no
sound out of the sub, I'll try and give you as much (probably too much)
information to hopefully allow you to sort my problem, or at least
point me in the right direction.

        * My system consists of a Yamaha DSP-AX861SE AV receiver connected to
various sources and outputting through speaker cables to 4 x Monitor

        Yamaha TSX 120 Standby Problem
        by psssst
Hello forum. I've recently been given a Yamaha TSX 120 DAB radio and ipod dock. Its working well however when put on standby its using 6.3 watts. The manual states less than 1 watt on standby. I measured this with a plug in monitor which seems accurate with other items. In use it uses around 7.5 watts. Firstly has anyone who owns a similar radio also got a plug in monitor to check if this is normal with this unit? In the first half a second the monitor shows 0.3 watts which I suspect is what it should use but something is switching it to be almost fully powered. I've searched the manual for eco...
