Audio through left and right at same time

I got two satellite speakers left and right that i needed to fix.

I got rid of the Y shaped leads from the 2.1 speaker system I bought.
Bought two stereo cable leads.
Cut off the plugs at each end.
Soldered them both to a jack.

I soldered the red and yellow wire to one speaker the left.
Then soldered the red and yellow to right speaker.
Now sound is coming out of right and left speakers.

Here are pictures.

The stereo cables had a yellow/white/red wires in the black lead.
I made left cables and right cables for both satellite speakers.

How did you figure which wires go to Tip, Ring, and Sleeve.
Right now you have Red wire to Tip, White wire to Ring, and Yellow wire to Sleeve.
You have three wires so did you find out which one is Ground, which one is signal?
What do the old cables look like and how they are connected between all 3 speakers?

it is normally red for right . white for left . white to tip red to ring .

I don't know what left and right, also ground.

I put the red wire to small metal part and white to higher.
Then the yellow to the ground I just guessed.

So do you still have the original cable?
Do you have the user manual that shows how all three speakers are connected together?
Just need to find out how the original working cables are wired up first.

I got rid of the original leads.
I remember that they had red and copper ground for right.
Then white and copper ground for left.

Then the two wires were in a jack plug 3.5mm.
I think I'll a cheap pair of headphones and solder the left/right to the satilles speakers I'm trying to fix.

Or help me get a satellite speakers replacement cable.

Is this the speaker system you have?
Looking at the user manual it looks like Y-Cable has the mini-phone jack that goes to the main unit has STEREO PLUG and it gets spitted up to two mono plugs, one per each speaker.
So can we see pictures of the whole cable you have made up?
So basically you made new Y-cable, right?
BTW, you do have Ohm meter, right?
At this point I would not use the new cable you made until we really see how you wire up the new cables exactly because you can damage the power Amplifiers.

Digital Multi-Meter.
Sounds like you need to buy the original cable at this point.
