Philips HTS7140 Tin / Canned sound problem.

    Hey guys ,

I have a problem with my soundbar that i repaired last year. The speech/talking sounds very "canned". Like i blew up the speakers.
Also the sound goes up and down in volume and these problems are only there when i watch tv. Hdmi arc or aux does not solve the problem.

Its not my tv or sound setting because i tried 2 other tv's and reset the bar to its factory defaults but that does not help. Any suggestions?

Ps , the sound via bluray is perfect!!

Can this be a capacitor issue on a board or a processor problem? Hope to fix the bar once more.
I only repair Panasonic plasma tv's! Currently owning a TX-P55VT50 and still searching for a ZT60!

Btw , i have not opened the soundbar. I noticed it tonight because someone mentioned it. ( probably used to it? ).

Its also more bass then treble but its not there with a music dvd/bluray.

      Philips 47PFS7509/12 LCD TV problem
      by janos6662000
      Hi

I have here a Philips 47PFS7509/12 LCD TV which came to me with a weird problem : without signal i could access menu, make a factory reset, access menus, etc.
When i applied cable signal to check image, i had normal picture, but TV was restarting.
I downloaded original firmware and applied the update, but the problem remained.
From a colleague i received a "factory package software" which is a lot bigger.
I made another firmware update, but still did not solve the problem.
Somewhere on the way the error got worse, because at the moment the...

Panasonic TX-24A1UN CRT Sound and Input problem.
      by hugocarmo
      Hi.

I´ve been given an old CRT from Panasonic, it´s almost new, it was storaged and almost not used since bought.
It is imaculate inside, almost no dust or debris inside.
The picture is good, but I have no left sound channel, I tried all the inputs, outputs, even on headphone jack. In AV2 I hear sound from right channel but no image, on tv tuner only right sound channel, the same for AV1.
So I started to look for a service manual, I found one, and started from the beginning.
Most of the times the caps are the problem so I orderer all the caps for all boards,...

Philips 43PUS7506/12 - Loud blown out sound
      by aidanmo
      Hello,

I've got a really strange issue with the speakers on my Philips 43PUS7506/12. It makes this awful loud buzzing now. It happened after it was attempted to be wall mounted - I think the back got squeezed and something broke.
I thought maybe the speakers got damaged, so I replaced them - no dice.
      • Using the internal speakers, it always happens.
      • Using the headphone jack, it never happens.
      • Using the digital/optical out with a soundbar - it happens after about 2h/movie runtime - it's never as drastic, it just pops in and out, but I didn't want it to damage the sound bar

Philips HTS8000 home cinema noise problem
      by courtcircuit
      Hello

I have since a long time a Philips HTS8010S/01 which has been old but was doing the job.

Since a few days, it starts by making a weird "static" nois when switches on for a few seconds to a minute and then works like a charm.
Noise loudly outputs from the 3 channels, even if no signal is sent by the controler.DVD to the subwoofer/amp unit.

I was thinking of a soldering that was starting to be damaged and that was only doing the job after a few seconds of heating, most probbaly on the power board
      Removed each of tyhe boards
