No sound out of any speaker jacks (A or B). Relays click and the display works. The display will show stereo on any FM stations. Tried hooking a CD player to this receiver but still no sound. I read about a couple of coils that have been known to open, but they are ok. Any ideas?

I'm trying to repair an onkyo ht-r390 that has no sound output, despite the volume being at maximum, the rest seems to work; the video output signal (coming from an hdmi input) is present, but the audio is absent. Similar situation if I send an audio signal from any input I have no output.
The firmware reported is the following:

The DSP firmware given the question marks seems corrupt.

Hi guys hope you all doing fine.I have an Onkyo HT-R960 from my uncle that he says he powered it on one day and no sound at all.I took it to try and repair it.I am also using it as an opportunity to start learning how to repair units like these and also amplifiers. When i first brought it home I also realized it wasn't outputting any video and audio tru the HDMI Ports.So followed a youtube video on how to change 5 caps to get HDMI output back.Did exactly that and now i have Picture tru the HDMI Ports.But still no audio. After I was able to bring my beloved Onkyo back to life (total failure of the power amplifiers) and it has now been doing its job for some time without any problems, it is now ailing with a new problem. I am currently trying to repair a Grundig Vision 9 37 9880 T USB LCD TV for a friend that has a weird audio problem. Basically everything works fine except for the heavily distorted sound when the Subwoofer module is connected and there is a buzzing sound coming from the PSU PCB.
This seems to be a rather rare TV so there is not much prior on topic help to be found however a service manual is available at the usual sources (Electro Tanya i.e.).
I think the PSU buzzing comes from one of the coils near the bridge rectifier but...
