    Power acoustik PD-931NB

    So I dropped the detachable screen and now I get no image on the screen other than a vertical line and a split grey color

    I took apart the touch panel and there are no visible cracks or damage

    Is it safe to just order the screen?
    I found one on ebay with the same part number but it came off an RCA tablet

    Im waiting on the seller to let me know if it is compatible since it is the same part number

    Is there anything I can test or is the screen damaged?

      The LCD has a few columns alive but the row scan is all gone. I'm not an expert and would check the 5 LCD power supply voltages.
      Datasheet for AT090TN10 LCD module
      I see a bunch on eBay that come with an HDMI board.

          So would you say the screen is damaged?

          I would have to rig up a 5v system to power up the screen to test it or figure out how to test it in my truck

          For 20 bucks I guess I can order the one from eBay

              I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

              Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

              I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

              The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

              With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

              Hello,

              I have an HP 15-eh1070wm laptop that came to me for the same reasons I am starting this thread. The charging LED appears when the laptop power adapter is connected and the power LED appears when pressing the power button, but nothing appears on screen.

              First thing I did was take off the bottom panel and remove the battery and then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds and then reinstall the battery and power on. The fan spins and this time, the back light illuminates and a brief message appears on the screen for about 1 second saying something along like,...

              I have a big problem and that is that in some cases when repairing active pfc power supplies I cannot work with a test lamp. I can only get help with 5 volts standby and for starting and starting I have to work without a lamp and this way there is a possibility of parts exploding and other parts being added.
              Sometimes with a multimeter test the problems can be reduced to some extent, but I had several cases that had to be tested on and online and recently two varistors exploded. They had terrible resistance because the power supplies were over 800 watts.

              Hello, I have a Canon TS8350 printer. The problem is that when I turn it on, "CANON" appears on the screen, but it never goes away. You can leave it on for a whole day, and it doesn't go away. Does anyone know how to fix this? I've tried unplugging it, but nothing. I've also tried holding down POWER, but nothing.               Hello,

              Stopped by this site trying to fix my parents Panasonic Plasma TV.

              Model number is TH-50PZ85U

              Power comes on and the red power light stays on solid.

              Did a few checks like hold the power button on for 60 seconds, hold the - Volume while holding the menu button, no luck, still@ blank grey screen as the screen lights up very vague.

              I also hear a few clicks.

              I also think my parents said there was a thunderstorm and the TV failed after that.

              Section 6 in the service manual talks about power and no screen,...
