Anyone know if you can get spares for these? as for some reason unknown the black insert on mines has gone missing can still use the selector control if you touch the pads behind it but it does look stupid without it.

by momakaIs a mid-2000’s boombox worthless? - I’d say probably yes
or at least certainly a candidate for this thread:

Long story long, my dad picked up a Sony CFD-E55 boombox over a decade ago from the trash room in a condo where we used to live.
(Note: picture below is of the boombox after the repair.)
He then put it in a box when we moved places and it sat in the garage for a few years. Eventually, I tested the boombox and found that it worked on batteries, but not on...-

by tracker1Hello. I want to insert OA3 id - product id and license key in bios for model Lenovo V15 G4 IRU. I followed the instructions for OA3 tool and managed to get an OA3.bin file with the license key to write the MSDM table. The next step is to write it with the flash utility matching the bios producer, but I didn't succeed.
I have attached 2 pictures with no license and with license how it supposed to look like, the dump and the oa3.bin file. I can't seem to find another laptop with windows preinstalled to copy from there.
Can anyone help, please?
Thank you...-

by UNITRAXThe physical description of the selector has been lost. It was made as a paper overlay for the selector jumper socket.
The jumper itself is three-pole, but only two of them are connected to each other.
I get 240V, 50Hz from the wall. If I connect pins C and 6, I have no voltage across capacitor C302.
Did I read the diagram correctly and the jumper connection of pins C and 6 is correct?
The dash lights come on, but I don't have power to the engine....-

by ClockChipHello Everyone,
I am seeking to repair a knob on an old (circa 1971) Panasonic clock radio (a model RC-6900). The good news is that I have the small, easily lost knob. The bad news is that the knob has come off a slotted post and I need to re-attach it in such a way that I won't have to worry about it coming loose again.
Here is a picture of the bare slotted post (if I have the term right) the knob should be attached to:
As you can see, this is an Old School selector switch, which means it's pretty stiff. Put another way: the knob has to fit... - Loading...
