Now I have integrated graphics, but I also have a dedicated card that will remain in the set, over time I will change the RAM and GPU.
What problems may occur after changing the processor?

Price difference between r5 5600x and r7 5700x is small and I prefer to buy r7.
Regnum RG4T case provides 159mm for CPU cooling.
Which model will be better Noctua NH-U12A, or be quiet! Dark Rock 4 135mm?

Changing the processor on the X470 board
I have the following setup:
Msi X470 gaming plus, ryzen 3 2200g
2 x 16 Gb hyper x cl17, radeon rx 570 8Gb
I would like to change the processor to r5 5600 or r5 7600
Which one is best to choose?

Re: Tape recorder Sharp RT 1155 - DC voltage in the VU Meter circuit
Both vu meters share common plus from pin 106 on pcb.
Pin 107 feeds the negative of the left vu meter.
Pin 108 feeds the right vu meter negative.
I took measurements between the pins on the pcb. For comparison, I measured against the chassis, the same results.
I hooked up an old pointer multimeter.
Meter positive probe to pin 106.
Probe negative to 107 = 0V
Probe negative to 108 = about -0.5V
Measurements taken in playback...

Re: Fix for Logitech Z906 speaker erratic function
Yellow glue that turns brown and corrodes neighboring elements. This is not just a defect of this manufacturer, it is a common phenomenon.
I have the impression that the newer the equipment, the shorter it will work without failure. Some manufacturers already manage to release models that do not want to work for more than 2 years....

Re: Tape recorder Sharp RT 1155 - DC voltage in the VU Meter circuit
Slide fields in record switch cleared.
The right Vu meter is operational. Checked with an ohmmeter. I measured the voltage on its terminals several times. There is no DC = 0V.
Both channels play.
The left vu meter is out.
On the cables from the right vu meter I have 0.5 to 1.5VDC
In the voltage measurements of IC3 and IC4 you can see the difference on 2 pins.
IC 3
pin 10 = 6V
pin 11 = 5.35V
IC4
pin 10 = 7.26V
pin 11 = 7.44VLast edited by UNITRAX; 05-17-2023, 10:55 PM.

Re: Tape recorder Sharp RT 1155 - DC voltage in the VU Meter circuit
It's probably the digital multimeter's fault. When I touch the pins with a screwdriver, IC1 behaves like IC2. Both resoldered.
I checked R206, C233 replaced with a new one.
I treated the rec switch with contact cleaner spray. I'll desolder it tomorrow and clean the sliding pads.

Re: Tape recorder Sharp RT 1155 - DC voltage in the VU Meter circuit
Diode test pin 2 and 3 = 0.7V
I'll check C233 and R206 after work
Both channels sound clear. The crackling sound, and vu meter madness occurs when I touch the pins of IC1 with a multimeter and therefore cannot measure it.

Re: Tape recorder Sharp RT 1155 - DC voltage in the VU Meter circuit
I had already cleaned the rec switch when assembling the cassette mechanism.
The voltage line of Q501 is 19.4V
In the pins of IC4 and IC3 I got the order of the second half wrong.
Gnd is at 9, not 16. I counted the pins from the wrong side.

Re: Tape recorder Sharp RT 1155 - DC voltage in the VU Meter circuit
Ohmmeter set to 600 ohms. The pointer in a working vu meter deflects about 75%.
I disconnected the faulty vu meter for measurements. The ohmmeter shows overload on all ranges. The indicator itself is defective, I would like to replace it. However, I don't want to connect the replacement to DC voltage. DC without specified sound source 0.5 V
In playback mode 1.5V

Tape recorder Sharp RT 1155 - DC voltage in the VU Meter circuit
I have a faulty right VU meter.
At the poles, the DC voltage varies between 0.5 - 1.5 V
The indicator does not respond to the ohmmeter at all.
I checked
transistors Q202, Q203
capacitors
C230, C231, C412
D202 diode.
Variable resistor VR 204
T 201 coil
Anyone have an idea how to get rid of the DC voltage?...

the mechanism itself should be similar...

Re: Aiwa ad-wx 717 belt measure
You can measure the length of the belt with a string or thread. Just unfasten it at the place where the old belt is attached.
Divide the result by 3.14(Pi). Then multiply the resulting number x2.

Re: Radio tape recorder Hitachi TRK 8010k - How to install aux in place of am band?
Topic solved.
I cut the path from pin 13 and put the switch in this place. Audio signal from bt is delivered to the volume potentiometer, so that in radio mode the VU meter and volume control works without modification. Bluetooth module has a separate switch, so that it does not interfere with the AM signal.
