dont know if that is a good or a bad news, i did not find the converter so i used these 3 pins as mentioned in the pic and there is clear sound coming to the head phones from both left and right pins
plz confirm that my assumption is correct on these pins

this means there is no issue in the path of the input signal?
if so, where is the problem then?!

can you please guide me where is that AKP1044 connector on the actual pcb?
attached is the pcb after cleaning and re flowing some joints (already tested and worked at that stage before the assembly)
if the connector is not on that pcb where is it?
    thank you

the speaker switches has no effect also , on top of that i never had any scratchy noises from the speaker switches also
they are just A and B, i am always using the B, and it works but on right channel only

i have an earphone but with the small jack, i think i have a converter, will try and let u know
    thanks

i have also done that, there was indeed a cable with a single pin not very tight, but it turned out it is not the issue
i am sure the unit was great right before the assembly and i am usually very careful during it, really strange
how about you guide me with tracing to narrow it a little?
    thanks

is there anyway to narrow where is the issue?
can somebody give me some steps to start with? at least to make sure that no rare/expensive parts are the issue

I have a little another issue now
for some unknown reason after the assembly i cant get any sound from the left output, i tried everything, swapped the input jacks, swapped the output speakers, but nothing comes from the left side
where can i start diagnoses for this? i just want to make sure it is not a serious problem, it also does not seem to be a scratchy knob or a bad switch because nothing at all comes from the left output
    thanks

i think u r right, but how did u know?
however i did notice that its wattage is not really affected by the signal nor the volume control, it is connected to a power meter, so i can see precisly how much it is drawing
i heard the class A is the best in quality but least in energy efficiency, are class A more expensive also?

again my bad, i was not connecting the prob properly, too afraid to short next to the gnd pin
the +15 is there very exact
thank you again for the much better pdf, that helps a lot (assuming it is the same schematics)
i really did notice way deeper BASS! after that repair, coz i also did disassemble the pot , it was so scratchy , i even needed to mill a small copper ring with a stick (0.1mm thick) and placed it on the inner carbon resistant ring, the outer was not worn out, so the inner of the left channel was causing the issues, no the loudness switch is much better, the direct which is so big switch is very scratchy , i need to disassemble and clean it, but these switches are really hard to assemble , it is very very complex and delicate, if it gone perhaps the whole amp wont work again, and wont even know what it does to try to replace it
you guys are really good at what u do, thank you very much for your patience and help, u r a life saver

If the amp is working the voltage is likely ok, which is "the" connector, or you are checking the wrong pin on "the" connector
    Check connector AKM1037 on Power amp board or (AKP1044 on control ass'y) pin 7 =+15 pin 5 = -15
The service manual from the Pioneer A-103 is very similar and a bit better quality and easier to follow (but too large to upload here)

    9V relay temperature 40C
    by jm1234
Hi, I'm seeing one 9V relay having temperature 40C on its 9V (primary) side. Does that seem right? I switched 2 relays on that board and the temperature was the same (on the same position), so I'm sure it's not a faulty relay. I measured voltage on that relay and it was 9.5V DC, so that looks good. I don't see any other relay on that board having that kind of temperature and they have 9V on them too.
I thought maybe the transistor that is switching this relay keeps switching on/off, so I also checked for AC and there was almost none: 0.3V using mV range. No steady frequency was shown, but...

Biomass Boiler not driving cleaner motor relay. ENERTRES BIOMASA BI-650
    by edugimeno
    Hi everyone!
I have this board that suddenly stopped supplying power to an output that drives an interchanger cleaner motor.
I checked while the board was in place with all wires attached and there's no AC voltage on the corresponding plug X5
This X5 is driven by fuse F8 (tested OK) which comes from the second orange relay
To make sure there are no charcoaled contacts inside the relay, I got a 24VDC power supply and got it ready to manually power up the coil side of these relays.
I respected the polarity, positive to cathode of protecting diode
    So provided all...

Mitsubishi CNC switching power supply board dead / relay board bad diode failure
    by sam_sam_sam
I was working on this CNC machine today found no keyboard functioning no control relay powering on
The screen powered on and was giving an operation error but the manual was not very clear about what the error exactly was but with a little bit of troubleshooting and finding out that the control relays not powering on and no keyboard functions we narrowed down to this one switching power supply which of course does not have any indicator LED light they are on the keyboard interface/relay controller board

Found shorted diodes on main controller relays there are 3 of them that...

Pioneer VSX-523-K Amplifier - Identify resistors
    by jason123
    Hi folks,
New audio equipment repair and I could use some help.
Picked up VSX-523-K Surround sound amplifer.

Upon power up for the first time (been sitting for a while) loud popping noise and smoke..

Disconnected, opened up and found many popped caps on the amplifier board.
Replaced all, replaced A992 BJT, and pre-amp transistor and power transistor. I found 0.47 Ohm resistors that are blown or have gone High impedance and I'd like to replace.

On the service manual, it shows these as 0R47(2) (assuming this is a 0.47 Ohm, 2W?)...

Polk Audio RTi100 Plate Amplifier won't power on and intermittently honks and buzzes
    by MrCommunistGen
My childhood best friend was killed about 9 years ago. His parents are finally letting go of his things, and they offered me his Polk RTi100 tower speakers. The Polk RTi100 towers are one of a handful of designs from the early 2000s that is a full range 3-way tower with a built-in self-powered subwoofer. This is accomplished with a plate amp integrated into the speaker input panel.

I think they used them for a while, but they've been sitting for at least a few years now. After about 40 hours of driving to their house and back (both they and I have moved in the last 9 years) I got...
