Anyone have XP /w paging horns?

So, i've been getting this IP-PBX system together for a local company, I already have the whole thing mapped out, i've done this before....ehh...once...before

one thing they require is a outside weather resistant horn. IP Horns are expensive, between $400-$10,000, so i've been thinking using an existent SIP ATA...

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16833150031

that they are using for thier fax machine, and using thier other port for the outside horn

i've been going through all kinds of equipment, and I found a few 'page controllers'...

    http://www.valcom.com/pagecontrol_prod/oneway.htm

but I get the impression, I can hook one of thier horns...

    http://www.valcom.com/horn_product/paginghorns.htm

to a phone line (ATA) directly

do these horns even hook directly to a phone line? or do you have to have a paging controller. Will ether even work with a SIP ATA? I don't see why not, its still compatible with any normal 'phones'. i've been going through all thier specs and installation manuals and the horns mention using the paging controllers, but i'm not sure its required.

anyone have any experience with these kind of systems?

    820-02917 4.69v/2.49a--weird one! New-Style ACE Controllers--where to source?
    by ugamazing
First time dealing with one of these 2023 16" units, and the board model is 820-02917. No schematic available from what I can tell, but a somewhat similar one in 820-02918. I am going to reference certain chips using the 02918 schematic because it will at least let you know what I'm looking at:

Unit had liquid-damage to U5500/UF400/UF500 areas. Had to do a ton of precision cleaning since we don't have any parts for this model yet. Got everything cleaned up but had a few resistors with burned pads that we replaced fine, but without knowing where to check for continuity, hard to...

PS4 CUH-2115B Slim All Controllers Do Not Sync By Bluetooth or USB
    by grimacelord
Hello. I have a PS4 Slim model number CUH-2115B that is having a problem with syncing any controller by USB and Bluetooth. Every controller I have tried will not sync, and I know that the controllers will sync fine to another PS4, so it's not a controller problem. I have tried 5 different USB cables and 3 different controllers and none of them sync to this PS4, but will on others.

The USB ports on the PS4 is delivering 5V power and does charge the controllers (I checked with an USB ammeter).

The controllers also do not work in Safe Mode. I understand that if they...

How to remove the protection of the inverter - several ways to protect shutdown in popular PWM controllers, LCD inverters.

When repair and diagnosis, it is often necessary to check the individual
inverter circuits - power converter lamps illuminate the LCD panel.
Carry out the necessary measurements is sometimes not possible, the

    Help understanding USB-C controllers
    by Rickkap
I need help trying to understand how the USB-C controllers work on a PC laptop.

I have an Asus Notebook PC model:UM425I which doesn't turn on. I check the motherboard and is doesn't have any liquid damage as such.

The USB-C tester is showing 5.18 - 5.19v fluctuating 0 amps and that's on both ports.

I checked the coils and there is no short to ground, only one was low in diode mode and with this removed the tester shows the exact same voltage readings.

There is only one USB-C controller (INFINEON CYPD5225-96BZXI) Link to the datasheet...

Another component identification please - these Xbox controllers are a pain in the rear end haha
    by Techie_hobby1
Could someone please help me with yet another Xbox controller component..
I have 2 Xbox Series X motherboards to hand (one being a faulty spare for parts only) and the other being a family friends faulty MB. He inserted 2 x AA Alkaline batteries and decided to plug the controller into USB-C which instantly made some magic smoke appear and wants me to see if I can fix it for him.
Yet another white (limited edition MB though)
truclacicr I know you are pretty good at previous id's, but anyone else can help me also

    Many thanks...
