    Pioneer VSX 531.Sourcing zener diodes

    Hi,
    Pioneer VSX 531

I have a zener - ZJ4v3b - to replace on a pioneer AV amp. Closest replacement I can find is NZX4v3b (I think!)
I can only find them at RS and in quantities of 200.
Wondered if anyone can guide me to another replacement or a supplier that doesn't require a 200 lot order ?
    Many thanks.

Farnell had a 6 week lead time for a minimum 1000 order IIRC. The ZJ code is the original component.

You're correct about the RS code. The component I think will be a replacement is TZX4v3B. Just checked the basket that has been there for three days

would a 5 percent C version be close enough ? can buy them in twenties at rs .

I'm not sure. The 5 channels are all using the same component and they're very small, although there is room on the board.

i suppose you could get 20 and see if you can select one that's closest to 4.3v without knowing the circuit and what the 4.3v is for i cant start to guess .

What Zener Diodes on a Linear Power Supply
                by caspian
                Dear members,

I have a linear variable power supply with unknown brand name that I used for voltage injection.
Then it failed. I discovered that its transistors (Q1 and Q2) are shorted.
In addition, I discovered that its zener diodes are defective.
I can replace the burned transistors.
But I do not know the model of the zener diodes. the model number is not marked on the zener diodes.
Therefore, I cannot replace the zener diodes.
I do not want to test the zener diodes in a test circuit to discover their model or value.
                no schematics are available...

Lenovo T480s usb-c charging port replacement - Knocked off a couple of diodes.
                by Nikolai Danylchyk
Hi folks. As the title says, I was doing a port replacement on a Lenovo Thinkpad T480s and in the process of post-solder cleaning, I somehow knocked off 2 or 3 diodes (i think they are diodes) near the main usb-c. I can't seem to find what kind of a diode is that. I know it's ultra tiny and just has a letter "G" on it. Would someone maybe have a proper schematic for the t480s model? I can only find the non-s one and it's quite different to the "s". Would love to figure out what component that is.
                Thanks in advance!...

                Zener diodes component equivalents

Hey guys, i have a sony home theater power supply thats a few smd zener diodes blown but its so hard to get them. any recommendation for me to use normal zener diodes?

                1. UDZSTE-1710B (9.99V 5mA) (SC-90, SOD-323F)

                2. UDZSTE-1724B (24V 200mW) (SC-90, SOD-323F)

                3. UDZSTE-175.1B (5.1 V 200 mW) (SC-90, SOD-323F)

These are the diodes. If i use normal zener diodes, it will work right? Question is, can i get these values on normal zener diodes?

Need help to buy replacement for toasted diodes
                by LENOVO-A880
Hi! I hope someone can help me out cause I'm looking into replacing one of the barrier diode that is faulty on my VDO odometer circuitboard due to short circuit lately. The part has marking on its body which reads "SJ" on the upper row while "39" on the lower.

Close-up photos included for the part and the numbers but the problem i can't find this part for sale anywhere. Oh! I don't even know if this part has any datasheet available for free online. So I wonder does anybody know any suitable replacement ot something equivalent to it?

                Thanks ahe...
