Got home today and receiver has no hdmi output, inputs are there but no audio or video out to tv. Done all the connections trouble shooting. By pass receiver everything works as it should. I do plan on opening up and peeking around but was hoping somebody had seen this failure before. Thanks Michael

try resetting the receiver. Odds are that its a hdcp failure. does the display detect the hdmi cable (ie. connect but "no signal" displayed). what is the display?
Usually an hdcp failure results in just no picture but I think that depends on what signalling is being used (hdmi 2.?, 1.?). Check signal it is trying to output... 4K, 1080p, etc.
Was there a power issue while you were away? That might have taken out some hdmi hardware. :-(

i have a ps5 here, which only produces graphic artefacts on the screen when the console shuts down.
no graphic artefacts visible in ps4 and ps5 games.
when the console is started, no artefacts can be seen in the main menu!
It's all very strange and I don't know what to do next
I swapped the hdmi port, no change.
could it be the hdmi encoder or the components near the hdmi ports?
how are the hdmi filters checked for functionality?

Asus B85M-GAMER absolute no hdmi output (not at start, not at Windows), and random restarts. Everything work, except hdmi and random restarts after 0.1-3 min. Restarts even in bios. On VGA Windows boots up fast, games and apps starts ok. Mem, psu, cpu changed, no luck. I need shematic, because i think the restarts caused by the hdmi failure. -

I'm trying to repair an onkyo ht-r390 that has no sound output, despite the volume being at maximum, the rest seems to work; the video output signal (coming from an hdmi input) is present, but the audio is absent. Similar situation if I send an audio signal from any input I have no output.
The firmware reported is the following:

I have an Asus FX705DT that had waterdamage....a lot
I have managed to make the motherboard look like working but i stil have some issues and maybe someone can point me in the right direction.
The laptop has a destroyed keyboard and the display is dead but i have managed to make the board start up and work "normal"...i have no short,power rails are looking good,hdd/ssd activity and so on.
