Anyway to increase the temperature of this preheater?

It's a preheater for iPhone models X-11 that use low melt 138c solder between the sandwiched layers. Has a constant temp setting of 180-190c

I want to use it for newer iPhone 12 models which use a higher solder between the layers I believe 168c.

Anyway to increase the temp of the preheater to 230c?

This type of heater are preset from the factory and you would have to replace them for the temperature that you need

Can always bump up voltage but then if the solder on the preheater starts to melt...

The top heater is directly conect to the main?, center and bottom are in series (no its not, my mistake). I wil try to desolder all of this, and measure resistance of each, maybe a simple dissarange of paralell-serial connection will increase temperature.

What is input voltage and resistance of each heater?

That looks like three ceramic PTC heaters. Their self-regulating temperature is built in to their design.
You can get them cheap on Aliexpress, example. 110VAC is a bit harder to find.
But if you put in higher temp parts, how to do low temps? You could add a cheap temperature controller STC-1000 to it, not with a cheap thermistor sensor but an RTD or thermocouple can take the higher temps.

I hope it's not mains powered, there is improper high voltage spacing due to the copper pour. That doesn't look so great.
edit: I see the LED is connected to those traces, it must be 12V heaters.

There's a plug that connects to it with an on/off switch in line with the cord going to mains. Is mains converted to 12v somewhere?

852D+ Hot Air Station - Temperature doesn’t increase
              by ohmmy
The dial lets me change the temperature setting but it always stays at 006. I’ve tried replacing the heater element (even though original tested fine) and no difference. Air flow still works fine. Any ideas?

AcuRite 5 in 1 temperature sensor replacement repair
              by CapLeaker
              Got a new victim:

AcuRite 5 in 1 Iris outdoor weather station not updating the temperature / humidity anymore. The original sensor is a SHT21. Also there are identical other sensor manufacturers. I chose the HTU21D to replace the original SHT21. Both have identical specs. I've had two failure modes with these sensors.
A: outside temp stuck at -40? It's cold here at times in Canada, but not that cold!
B: stuck at some temperature and maybe updating once in 12 hrs or so.

Easy solution is to go to AcuRite website and purchase the sensor. Right?...

Temperature to remove chips from motherboard
              by asdas09
What temperature with the heat gun should be use to remove large and small chips from the laptop and mobilephones motherboard? My problem is that the chips not easily remove from the motherboard, example 380°C degrees. I don't know if there is a difference with the devices that the temperature is not stable with them even it shows the right temperature, what should it be? I don't know if I should use higher temperature but the risk of destroying other components?

I have device Sugon 202. I'm used also normal flux and rosin flux.

              ISL95880HRTZ desoldering temperature
              by Dreigas
              Hello,

I bought from China ISL95880HRTZ (3+1+1 Voltage Regulator with Expanded ICCMAX Register Range Supporting IMVP8 CFL/CNL CPUs) chip, which I think is not the original one, but anyway, I tried to resoldering it with a 380C hot air station. Seems soldering is pretty good, but the laptop doesn't work (it worked before, but still had some problems with power delivery).
Is there any big chance, that they sent me two fake ISL95880HRTZ chips or did I just use too big temperature for desoldering? I will try with another chip, but I can't find any info about the maximum desoldering...

              9V relay temperature 40C
              by jm1234
Hi, I'm seeing one 9V relay having temperature 40C on its 9V (primary) side. Does that seem right? I switched 2 relays on that board and the temperature was the same (on the same position), so I'm sure it's not a faulty relay. I measured voltage on that relay and it was 9.5V DC, so that looks good. I don't see any other relay on that board having that kind of temperature and they have 9V on them too.
I thought maybe the transistor that is switching this relay keeps switching on/off, so I also checked for AC and there was almost none: 0.3V using mV range. No steady frequency was shown, but...
