Will ESR of capacitor affect charging time?

I have three capacitors put in series, each has 1F 5.5V, connected to a circuit with a resistor 33 ohm and 13V supply. Will the value of ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance) affect the time constant RC? That means R = 33 only or, if each capacitor has 30 ohm ESR, value R would equal
33 + 3 * 30 ?

the lower the esr, the faster a cap will both charge, and discharge.
i dont know how you calculate it because it will be related the the current capacity of the cap (ripple current)
