    tda1085 & triac problem

    Hi
    I have a problem with a tda1085c circuit.

The board has 2 terminal switch with a moving shaft. There are 3 positions. Position 0(motor stopped) posistion 1(right-handed rotation) and position 3(left-handed rotation). At the same time, moving with the shaft a potentiometer to adjust the speed.
if it has been pressed position 1 or 2 and after turn on the main power switch(230v), everything is ok with universal motor.
If i turn on the main power switch and press the terminal switch from position 0 to position 1 or 2 the motor starts with high speed and stabilizes in the right speed. The change of direction takes place with relays.

I have tried to change the potentiometer, but the problem is with the spikes from switches and the triac(bta26-700b)
Also i have tried to put electrolytic capacitors on switch contacts and gnd, but the problem remains.

    Could you help me?
    Thank you

    Re: tda1085 & triac problem

not sure what the proper behavior should be?
    what is this motor for?
    is the high speed improper?
Why does this control have a potentiometer on it in the first place, wouldn't it be easier to have a 3-position center off toggle switch and do away with the potentiometer?

Help troubleshooting an audio problem with an RCA SGT-250 CED Player
        by samson7point1@yahoo.com
The Problem: This player has a toggle switch to select between Stereo, Mono R, and Mono L. Regardless of the setting it outputs the sound to both the L&R audio jacks. In the Mono R position, the audio output level is normal (from both the L and R audio output jacks), in the Stereo position the audio output is about half the volume, and in Mono L, it's about 3/4 the volume. Something about putting it into Stereo mode is causing the volume to drop significantly and I can't figure it out.

The player processes the audio signal using two different reference frequencies. The "R"...

Poly VVX-250 VOIP POE problem not booting fix
        by CapLeaker
I've got a bunch of Poly VVX-250 VOIP phones that work fine as kind as long as they are plugged into the wall wart. Recently I got around to install a couple of TP-Link 5 port POE switches that are added to the existing plain Jane 24 port unmanaged switch. Great!!! Finally I am able to ditch the wall warts from these phones making more space on the desk, plus I am gaining some badly needed power outlets. So I thought.

Plugged in the first VVX-250 into the POE switch, booted up no problem. Plugged in the other Poly phones and they start to boot anywhere from 5 to 15 seconds,...
