I like MCM Electronics. I've got a few of their Tenma items, which as far as I can tell is their house brand. If you sign up for their catalog, they tend to run decent sales every couple months. I got a $90 station for $40.

I made a post over on reddit about how my windows laptop only works when plugged in now, because I dropped a screw driver on the connector pins where the laptop battery plugs into, causing sparks. I put a brand new battery in but still the same result, so something on the board obviously got fried (however, there's no visible burn marks, so no clue what was affected). I honestly wouldn't care, but my laptop is power throttling even with the internal battery unplugged (turns out this is a common problem on laptops with poor batteries or missing batteries). I'm working on repairing a Music Store Professional GO! SUB 18A bass subwoofer, and I need some help troubleshooting an issue with the power amplifier board. The board uses an IR2153 driver and originally had two SLW20N50C MOSFETs. Unfortunately, these MOSFETs burned out. I replaced them with two TK20J60W MOSFETs; however, these also failed almost immediately.

I have this laptop (Asus UX52VS) where I was flashing the BIOS to it and it froze during the process. Based on your experiences and knowledge, which BGA Rework stations would you recommend for general use for an enthusiast at the low-mid-to-high price range? Based on what I've seen, £6000 may be considered high. I particularly like those with adjustable focus, built-in suction and ball alignment features, but I appreciate that they may be on the high end.
Also any thoughts on the PUHUI T-862++ IR Rework Station, LY GXX models, WDS-XXX models? -

New to Audio equipment - I got this receiver, I connected speakers and I tried to connect to Bluetooth. My phone would not see the receiver (Receiver flashes the BT as if it's trying to pair). Then I put it on FM radio, I get white noise on the speakers. I click the +/- Tuner button, and it moves from saved station 1 through 28, but the frequency is 87.x MHz not changing.
