Hello Fellas
I have a problem, got a Monitor that show signs of being totaly dead even when connected to comp I have been in checked usual things that i am capable of checking, (esr on caps, rectifiers mosfet ect on P/Supply) then checked on/off switch and it was ok getting 3.2Vbut found LED open,
what I need to know is
(1) Can this be the cause of the dead Monitor.
(2) can I replace this one with another working one off another old monitor(thats not due to cost, only easier for me) or are there differences in these things that I should Know

But today, I’m making an exception here. Why? No idea. Perhaps only because the repair details are still “fresh” in my head… which is ironic, given this is a 16 year old monitor that hardly anyone will care about today. It is new to me, though.
