Can't find stupid FFC. But I have an idea

I've worn out the connectors on the FFC for my yamaha from the front panel board to the preamp board. It's 152mm length, 1mm pitch, 32 connectors, opposite side connectors. Mouser has them all on order, with 1000 minimum order. I've looked through google, and found few leads to being able to get them here in the US for those specs.

could I get two 16's with the same specs and place them side by side? would they overlap the connectors on the edge next to each other and create a single insulated contact?

Everyone's saying it's all 0.5mm, however the connector it goes into is 1mm pitch. Manufacturers are advertising these cables for 12 cents each if they are 0.5mm pitch. I can't even find this cable anywhere, there is one website that said they had them, but don't anymore.

Also, if you want 1000 cables, lotta places willing to make them at 12 cents each at that quantity.

could I combine two 16's without an overlap in the middle?

Crimping CAT7 connectors high failure rates
            by CapLeaker
I’ve had and got a few projects using quality CAT6 and CAT7 23awg solid copper, shielded, direct burial cable. Each time I use CAT7 connectors, most of them fail making good connections to the 4 wire pairs after crimping. I tied a couple of crimping tools, thinking my crimper is bad. Also used different CAT7 RJ45 connector manufacturers. Same thing. I kinda calculate 6 connectors to make one cable!
Get this: I use CAT5 or CAT6 connectors, no problem. Very rare I have a miss crimp with those. So what gives?! ...

            TCL 65C715 backlight issue
            by Cornito
            Hello team,

            I'm back with another topic.
It's a 65C715 TCL tv with backlight issue.

But the problem is a bit strange.
When I took this tv from the marketplace backlight didn't work but picture was ok.
Back at home I checked with led tester if led are alive and I can find something different in term of voltage supply => nothing

Putting all back together the tv worked fine for weeks. => Contact issue??

Few moment later the tv has started to have backlight issue back, turning off and on worked sometimes and tv was working....

Making a Handskit hot air station a bit less stupid
            by spleenharvester
I bought one of these as it was the only one I could find that is compact enough to fit in my toolbox (though I've since found KSGER make a substantially safer looking one). It's one of those fan-in-handle things that has the 230V element in the handle. Quecoo briefly sold a similar unit but discontinued it.. maybe they couldn't find solutions to these problems. I'm aware these fan-in-handle things are garbage compared to a good air pump station but I only really use this for occasional QFN work etc.

I did not realise at the time of buying that its design is... interesting, to say...

Where to find a very small fpc connector 0.3mm between 2 pins ?
            by corrize
Hello, I search this connector (oxydated).
It's a fpc zif low profile connector. It come from camera sensor, it is very small : 0.3mm between 2 pins.
I ordered 2 from Aliexpress called « 0.3mm pitch » but one was 0.5mm between 2 pins and the other 0.6mm. In fact « 0.3mm pitch » seams to be the pad width and not the distance between 2 pins.
I can't find it. The other websites like mouser dont show the datasheet, and I can't check if it is 0.3mm between 2 pins ?

Do you know how to find this connector please ? What is the exact name for find it ?
