    SBT20100UCT equivalent

    I have a SBT20100UCT that is shorted. It's TO-220AB package.
Whilst I understand the 20 is Amps and the 100 is the maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage do the letters SBT at the beginning signify anything ?
Are there any other characteristics I need to pay attention to when looking for a replacement ? thanks.

I forgot to put that this is a schottky diode and have attached the data sheet.

              Re: SBT20100UCT equivalent

It arrived and it's fitted and I'm currently using it. I'd call it a success.

Thanks petehall347, I had done a search matching the Volts and Amps on RS and had found that page but I was unsure if the letters at the beginning meant anything as I couldn't find what SBT referenced.
