Look at 6:16 the current chart signature of the front load washing machine. At 7:38 the detail current chart of the gas furnace. At 8:24 they know the furnace ignition system is falling. They have same idea as me. Now they are expanding the library of home appliances. How is about TV repair Database!

It's nice of you translation: there are cheap processors that can take the needed measurements and compare it to a Database in its memory , and here , we don't need high end processors capable of millions of operations in a second , all what we need is a low end processor with some sufficient ram.

Capwizard; I studied this idea carefully from different sides , and i find it completely applicable and can be done fairly easy , within some acceptable prices margin . Even Princess Jasmin 2 won't feel a princess , lol .

First of all , in respect of your wish to keep the device an external one , meaning without opening the tested appliance , you'll have to disregard certain methods that can be useful too , like odor sensors for some overheating elements or light sensors to record the instant of a blowing part , etc , but you can also add them in "Princess Jasmin 2 Professional Edition" .

Talking about what the database issue , this can be highly accurate in many cases where the TV , for an example is still lit , showing irregular symptoms of different errors . Even when the TV isn't lit , there are also cases where your processor can check an Amperage value .

To make a Database easily , reliable and sufficient ,an Amperage testing should be done on a new TV , while creating situations where temporarily missing component or components , and next those are registered in the Database . All what the processor has to do when a real error occurs later , is comparing his database to the related erroneous readings .

Easy! Modify the firmware, If warning lights on the dashboard is on, the car's speed is not allowed to exceed 40. If tire sensors found a big leaks or a flat will use ABS slows down the car or you can't start the car. and said " Sorry, my Master, I is fine! but I could not let you drive the car until tire is changed.... a fair few uk cars have this already when theres a fault and the ecu picks it up and puts the engine managment light on it reduces the car speed and limits the rev range called limp mode its a good idea to be honest.

Yeah, so your tire went flat all the suddenly so you roll over any way because it is too late but hey you see warning lights on the dash while you laying in pain. Most people ignore all kind of warning signals they see on the dash board any way and think 'I will deal with it later!'

flat tire sensors are A good mandate from government, It's prevent the SUV rolled over.

The TV video processor already has Logic built-in self-test (or LBIST)

Surely better to mandate a decent warranty period forcing manufacturers to improve build quality ?
Adding sensors for everything as well as some sort of control unit adds unecessory manufacturing costs.

Whatever the increase in cost its always passed onto the manufacturer.
Consumers generally want cheap.

How about the cell phone, home appliances, HVAC and so on and on, and who is going to pay for it? Look at what they do with the money they collect for the so called R-Waste fee.
BTW, look into flat tire sensor, $150 or more each when they get damaged and MUST be replaced.

We can't fix all the TVs, the one could not fix, is the one from another shop or it is worth the time to dig in or pay the tips for.

My body and I paid $500 for repair tips collections from (Tvmans tips collections (Florida), 10 series hard-copy books), 10 years ago.

PS: Why need to sell the current device? The software need to pay for people to write it and to maintenance, it will need more HDD for the Web server's Database with faster and accurate service for general public.

PS: I don't mind pay for the tips is useful to me. Actually I am begging for it!

But that is not based on what you want the customer to do to provide the reading result from the tools you suggested for them to use to HELP you.
We all have done that repeat problem fix, the first time you see th problem which may take you hours or days and not really making money on the first one, but the next time you see the same make and model, then it is just a matter of putting in the new part or resolder commonly failed solder joints on particular board, that is when you make money on the next 2~ to how many repair on the same model, been there done that, same model tends to have same failure symptom that is why MFG has service bulletins.

I already did! Some tips it worth $280 or more for me! because I can use again and again. and for TV module repair service center (PTS....) it is worth $ thousands......

PS: Every customer came in, I show them the current meter, To proved it is not the fuse or buttons which they always thought It was!

So the customer has to get that board, current sensing resistor, power supply, box for safety, outlets, power cord, etc. do you think the customer is going do that?
