Low voltage lighting transformer? Can/should it be fixed?

Another learning venture for me, and admittedly I know little about transformers.

This is a low voltage lighting transformer I bought off Ebay. Sadly , it failed in less than a few months. It was in a wet location, and the circuit manage to trip and possibly destroy my old GFCI outlet that was wired in with it.

The transformer is wired with a dusk/dawn switch, but I believe I bypassed that on the bench, and still have zero voltage on the output side. This transformer was previously hooked up to just two LED outdoor lamps.

    Thanks for any help!

    set your meter to resisance.
    then check the output wires,
    the input wires,
    and the thermal fuse.
(that's the 2 solid wires you see with the red & white)

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
      by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

      Assuming...

Transformer producing higher voltage than rated
      by UserXP
      Hello, people.
i am not sure if this question belongs to this forum section exactly, but since there already are some queries here about power transformer, let's give it a try.

So, I have this old but very well preserved Casio SA-20 ToneBank keyboard. It is powered either by five 1.5V AA bateries, or via a power adapter, so its operating voltage is 7.5V. The power adapter input jack also states 7.5V DC In. Now, since this keyboard was never supplied with a PT, but actually came with test bateries included, I decided to try to buy an adapter for it. I know I could have just gone...

Panasonic TH-L42D25A checking the PSU output voltage
      by electron_jj
Hi Everyone, I am new to this forum. I have a Panasonic LED TV which doesnt turn on and is blinking 4 times repeatedly when I turn on the switch. The TV does not respond to the remote control so I had to turn on using the physical switch on the side of the TV. When I turn on the switch the 4 x blinking starts and repeat itself until I turn off the TV. There is a black screen. I turned off the light in the room to check the panel and I think there is no backlight as far as I can tell.

I have been inspecting and testing the capacitors and diodes in the power supply board to try to...

3+1 Voltage Regulator for IMVP-7/VR12 CPUs

Compliant with IMVP-7/VR12, the ISL95831 provides a complete solution for microprocessor and graphic processor
core power supply. It provides two Voltage Regulators (VRs) with three integrated gate drivers. The first VR can be
configured as 3-, 2- or 1-phase VR while the second output is 1- phase VR, providing maximum flexibility. The two VRs share the
serial control bus to communicate with the CPU and achieve lower cost and smaller board area compared with the two chip approach.
