Capacitor identification help need please.

Hey,

I am trying to locate a replacement for a large cap in an air conditioning unit. But I cannot seem to find an exact replacement. I wonder if I could ask the community for help please to identify a source or suggest a similar component?

And can someone confirm if these are suitable?

The markings on the cap are as follows-

Nichicon LQ (K)
C1413
CE 85 C
500uF
420 WV

Dimensions are approx 30mm dia x 58mm length

I will not go to lower Voltage when the original is rated at 420V, go for 450VDC, and buy from DIGIKEY, I would not buy from EBAY due to faked caps problem.

Thanks budm.. So you would say go for the 560uF? or go lower? Original is 500

No. the one you show on Digikey is rated at 400V, your original is rated at 420V so you should not get the replacement that has lower Voltage rating than the original.

Well your cap as shown in the pictures shows 420V:

500uF
420 WV

So why are you keeping referring it to 400V when it is not. The one you choose on DIGIKEY is rated 400V.

It is rated at 400V, your original as shown in your pictures is rated at 420V.

Sorry my mistake, I was more worried about the difference in capacitance 500 instead of 560. I fully understand I need 450v thanks
